I applied for CSMIT in CAP ROUND 1. After reviewing the college the facilities and faculty was not that good. Afterward in CAP ROUND 2 - I applied for Saraswati college of engineering here as on visiting I found out about bus service provided by college itself, railway pass concessions, great campus and super supportive and nice faculty. After being assigned the college in 2nd CAP ROUND you can visit the college and freeze your choice. Upon which you will be given the application letter from the CAP ROUND.
The course is very simple and straightforward each being related to one another. All curriculums are designed for real world applications. There is no improvements required just listening ,taking notes and practicing will be sufficient to score good marks. Exams are conducted every 2nd month (for example: Course starts in August first exam will be in September then second exam will be in November and then the semester exam will be in late December)
4th year (7th semester and 8th semester) students are eligible for placements. Post eligibility terms and conditions applied and required by the companies are also to be kept in mind. Students are also well trained for interviews and placements. Various Industrial visits are organised. Skill improvement camps are also provides and hosted. Club activities are also supported. Average package is round 5-6 LPA and 100% placement by 60+ companies.
Fee is divided into 2 parts: 1. Tution fee - (10000 to 100000 depending upon caste) 2. Transport and stationary fee - (almost 7000) For OPEN category: The tution fee comprises of 80000 as tution fee and 20000 as examination fee for first year. Afterward it's 80000 as tution fee and 15000 for examination fee. For OBC: The tution fee is 50% reduced and examination fee is also 50% reduced making final fee to be 61000 approx. For SC/ST: The tution and examination fee combined is 11000 approx NOTE: There is no deduction in transport and stationary fee. College also provides scholarship provided by MahaDBT. Which is for OBC/EBC/SC/ST.
A very healthy inter department competitions are organised. Freshers party and annual fests are also organised. Many festivals are also celebrated. Many clubs are also present with unique activities. Many competition are organised to have fun while in college. Annual sports meet is also held. Overall your days won't be boring here.
Faulty is very supportive and friendly. You could first be very intimidated by them but once you approach them you'll find this out. They will clear every doubt that is asked to them whether in class or outside class. Not to pushy about assignments but will deduct marks if not submitted on time. There are 5 courses in the college: 1. AIML 2. DS 3. CS (core) 4. MECHANICAL 5. CIVIL There are overall 3 exams in each semester: 1. Internal examination - 1 (very easy) 2. Internal examination - 2 (easy) 3. Semester examination - (easy to moderate)
From semester 5 or 6, the students start training placement in different workplaces according to the expertise of a particular student as different students have different abilities to work and knowledge.
My course is ai and ds which is technology field and it is future technology which make human growth faster but still not that much famous we have to work on it as we know AI is future it can adapt anything
The placement opportunities here are huge many companies come here to hire students in the third year itself to hire for internships and then according to their performance will get hired permanently after completing
After the second year those students who have cleared all semester without any kt in subject are eligible for campus placement.The company like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and etc like hired students from my campus.
My course is aids so it's booming filed so I choose that and it's related to computers and the curriculum is exactly similar to computer engineering so it's beneficial and simple for studing and it's very good decision to take aids branch
In 7th semester Students are eligible for placements. So many companies vists the campus and recruits the students. Highest package of college is increasing every year this year it was of 54 lpa in Microsoft. Companies like Capgemini, Persistent,TCS, and many more vists the college. 70 to 80 % students get placed each year. And some of the students also start entrepreneurship one of the example is the startup cooliewala. I will opt for the placements, and them will apply for post graduation.
Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed.
