Top recruiting companies for CSE and IT branches are Microsoft, Google, Paypal, etc. You will get a lot of exposure and great placement and internship opportunities.
VIT has a Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS). It gives the students complete freedom to tailor their courses the way they want. You will get to choose what you wish to study and when you wish to study it.

This answer will be a comparative analysis of mentioned institutes i.e. Manipal, VIT and SRM. I have interacted with various students at these institutes.
VIT v/s SRM
- VIT has better placements than SRM and you will be exposed to a lot of opportunities. More than 300 companies visited the campus of VIT during a recent placement drive.
- Accommodation at VIT is way better than SRM and at affordable prices. The AC hostel at SRM is very expensive and the living conditions are very poor. VIT hostels are safe and guard almost cover a lot of areas for your security.
- Most SRM students have shifted out of hostels within 2 years of the course. They arranged their own travel, food expenses, and electricity by themselves.
- At VIT, you can easily find North Indians and the crowd is very friendly. If you are from Delhi, you will love VIT more than SRM.
VIT v/s Manipal
- Getting a seat in both VIT and Manipal is equally expensive. It is important to choose the stream beforehand and then choose the college accordingly.
- You can get CSE at VIT with any rank if you have paid a donation amount of 3-5 LPA. In Manipal, you will be paying a similar fee for branches like ECE, EEE, and Mechanical.
- Both institutions have the same quality of education, so you must choose the right branch at a cheaper cost.
- Hostels at Manipal are expensive while VIT hostels are affordable. A non-AC room with 4 bed can cost around 20,000-25,000 rupees whereas 1-bed non-AC will cost around 40,000. You can choose according to your budget.

Admission Details:
The total seats of CSE in NMIMS, Manipal, VIT, and SRM are 180, 200, 722, and 780, respectively. Students need to score a 50% in their 10+2 to be eligible for a seat in NMIMS, Manipal, and SRM, and a 60% to be eligible for admission in VIT.
- The examination scores accepted by NMIMS for the admission of BTech CSE is NMIMS-NPAT. The tuition fee at NMIMS Mumbai Is 12 lakhs and at NMIMS Shirpur it is 7 lakhs.
- Manipal University accepts MET scores for admission. The tuition fee is 16 lakhs.
- At VIT for BTech admission, VITEEE examination scores or JEE Main scores are accepted. The tuition fees for BTech is 7.83 lakhs. For 2020, the VITEEE examination has been canceled, and admission is based on the 12th school qualifying examination.
- SRM takes admission through JEE Main or SRMJEE scores. The total tuition fee at SRM is 18 lakhs.
