KCET 2021 Admit Card will be available for online tentatively a month after the registration portal closes; from the second week of April, 2021. Candidates whose application and registration fee payment has been successful can download it from the official website of KCET; www.kea.kar.nic.in by entering their credentials such as user id and password. The admit card is an important document that contains information regarding the candidate’s exam and has to be preserved till counselling. Candidates must carry their admit card to the test centre along with a black or blue ink ballpoint pen. Failing to produce the admit card for verification by the invilators will lead to cancellation of your candidature. Details mentioned on it must match with actual details.

  • The admit card will be available online only. No copy will be posted/mailed or faxed by the authorities. No request in this regard will be entertained.
  • Candidates are advised to verify every information written on the hall ticket. In case of any discrepancy, the concerned authorities must be notified and contacted immediately.
  • All important instructions to the candidate regarding the CET examination is printed on the back side of the hall/admission ticket which must be read carefully.
  • The admission ticket must be produced at the time of counselling as well as during document verification at the time of admission.

Candidates are advised to use a reliable web browser (not a very old version) such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge for hassle free download. Avoid using mobile devices or tablets for the same. You can follow the steps mentioned below to download their admit card online:

  • Visit the official KCET website http://www.kea.kar.nic.in
  • Under the “flash news” section, click on the CET 2021 link.
  • In the new window, you will find “CET 2021 Hall Ticket Download Link”. Click on that.
  • Enter your application number and date of birth as per class 10 marksheet. Click on the submit button. 
  • Check every detail carefully for verification. This is important as any discrepancies are found by the authorities while verification might lead to cancellation of your exam.
  • You can now download, save and print your admit card for future use.

What Has to be Carried Along With Admit Card

Candidates are required to carry the following documents or along with the hall ticket or admit card at the time of their examination without fail:

  1. 3 copies of your passport size photograph for verification

  2. 2 - 3 blue or black ball point pens for answering in the OMR (optical mark recognition) sheet.

  3. Any one of the valid identification proof such as aadhar card, pan card, college identity card, valid passport, 2nd PU or admit card of 12th standard examination, bus ticket.

Items That Cannot be Carried to Exam Hall

Candidates may not carry the following items to the examination hall. Failure to comply with this instruction might lead to cancellation of your candidature:

  1. Calculator or any other electronic or bluetooth devices such as smart watches, electronic speakers, camera or smartphones.

  2. Any paper, books, study material, or similar materials are strictly prohibited inside the hall.

  3. Food items, beverages, or any other snacks may not be carried inside.

  4. Any metallic or nonmetallic ornaments, bracelets, pendants are also forbidden.

  5. Handbags, wallets, purses, caps, or jackets are also to be avoided.

Exam Day Instructions

KCET 2021 Exam Day Instructions

Instructions printed on the reverse side of the admit card regarding CET examination. Keep the following do’s and don’ts in mind:

Do’s

  • Carry the admit card with you to the examination hall and read the instruction printed on the reverse side of it.

  • A black or blue pen for marking your responses on the OMR sheet must be carried to the exam centre.

  • Candidates are requested to be present at their allotted examination centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the third bell which is after 10:40 and 2:40 pm.

  • Candidates must enter their name carefully as given in the second PU or CBSE or CISCE.

  • The version code of the booklet and admission number must be shaded on the answer booklet in the respective circles.

  • Candidates have to put their signature at the bottom portion of the OMR sheet without fail.

  • The candidate copy or bottom sheet replica must of the OMR sheet has to be collected from the invigilator after each session is completed.

  • Only one circle corresponding to the answer out of 4 options has to be shaded. The circle has to be filled in/ shaded completely.

  • Left hand thumb impression must be affixed only on the bottom of the OMR answer sheet at the end of each test session.

Don’ts

  • Carrying slide rulers, mathematical tables, white fluid, markers, erasers, are not permitted inside the examination hall.

  • Modern electronic equipment such as mobile phones, bluetooth devices, laptops, calculators, watch calculators, wireless sets, notepad or any piece of paper, and earphones are also not be carried inside.

  • Avoid making any stray marks, on the timing marks printed on your answer sheet and do not mutilate or spoil it.

  • Perforation provided on the OMR answer sheet must not be damaged.

  • While affixing your left hand thumb impression, avoid spreading the ink elsewhere.

  • An option once circled/darkned cannot be undone in any way. Candidates are requested to practice extra caution or “think before you ink” while answering on the OMR sheet.
