STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
KCET Syllabus 2023 will be notified in the information brochure which is released by KEA every year. However, since KEA had updated KCET Syllabus in 2021 for all four subjects i.e, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, no major changes are expected in KCET Syllabus 2023. KCET Syllabus is based on the syllabus for PUC I and II prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State. In order to prepare for KCET 2023, you must know the detailed exam syllabus and pattern.

KCET 2023 will be held on two days in four different sessions for four subjects.

Ques: Are there any changes in KCET Syllabus 2023?
Ans: KCET Syllabus 2023 will be notified in the information brochure, any new changes will be updated here. However KCET Syllabus had been revised in 2021 because of the 30% reduction in syllabus of PUC I and II (Class 11th and 12th). Students can download KCET Syllabus 2023 PDF using links mentioned in the article above.
Ques: Do I have to appear for all the papers of KCET 2023?
Ans: No. You do not need to appear for all the papers in KCET 2023. Candidates who will apply for B.Tech courses need to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Maths paper. Candidates who apply for pharma courses need to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology Paper.
Ques: Is PUC syllabus similar to class 11th and 12th syllabus?
Ans: Yes. PUC, that is Pre University College in Karnataka, is equivalent to the 11th and 12th class of other states.
Ques: Can I carry my calculator in the Maths and Physics Paper of KCET 2023?
Ans: No. Students are not allowed to carry any electronic items in the examination hall for KCET 2023. The mode of examination is offline. Candidates can carry their pen for calculations. A rough sheet will be provided by the invigilator.
