Results of MHT CET 2021 will be published by June 2021. It will be available online on the official website of MHT CET. Candidates can get their results by entering roll number and date of birth. The office of MHT CET prepares a list of ranks on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the examination. The rank and marks secured by the candidate will be mentioned in the result. MHT CET releases the percentiles of the candidates on the basis of their rank and marks. The shortlisted candidates will be eligible for admission in the participating universities for engineering/technical and pharma courses. The merit list will be released by the 1st week of July 2021. For each answer there are two marks allotted for each question in mathematics and one mark allotted for each question in Physics and Chemistry. There is no negative marking or any kind of penalty for wrong answers. So the candidates can check their accuracy by the answer key and then the scores can be calculated easily.


MHT CET 2021: Tie-Breaking Parameters:

There are certain cases when two or more candidates get an equal score and that creates a hindrance in calculation of ranks. So MHT CET has decided some parameters on which the ranks could be decided. The parameters are discussed below:

  • The candidates who have marked less incorrect answers in any subject will be considered superior

  • The candidates with better percentages at higher secondary level will be preferred first.

  • The candidates who are older in age will be considered superior in context to rank calculation.

MHT CET shall be conducted in multiple shifts and the questions are of different level with variations in the toughness level. So there are some measures adopted by the exam conducting authority to establish a balance between the questions. The percentile secured by the candidate will be the normalized score and not the raw score secured. Percentiles will be calculated upto an extent of 7 decimals to De-Bunching and ties.

The counselling process for MHT CET 2021 will be done through online mode. Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their marks and rank secure in MHT CET.
