    MHT CET 2023 Exam Centers: The list of MHT CET 2023 Exam Centers is released by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. The exam is conducted across 36 district headquarters in the State of Maharashtra. Exam centers will be allocated on the basis of the number of candidates and the availability of seats in the particular venue.

    Information regarding allotted centers will be indicated in MHT CET 2023 Admit Card which is expected to be released soon along with dates of examination. Under no circumstances, the request for change of the allotted exam center will be entertained. DTE will preferably try to allot the exam centers filled by the candidate in the application form. If a candidate has opted for both PCM and PCB groups then they may get the different examination centers for the different groups. MHT CET 2023 conducting body reserves the rights for final allotment of the examination center to the candidate.

    List of MHT CET Exam Centers 2023

    • There are a total number of 36 districts in the state of Maharashtra where DTE Maharashtra will conduct MHT CET 2023.
    • The districts fall under eight divisional authorities which include Mumbai, Pune, Amravati, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nanded and Sangli.
    • Candidates have to choose from the following list of exam centers as per their convenience.
    • There are chances that the exam could be conducted in the capital districts of Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujrat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh depending of the availability of candidates.

    Do's and Don'ts at MHT CET Exam Centers 2023

    Do's

    • Reach the test center at least 30 minutes prior to the test. Carry your original MHT CET Admit Card with you.
    • Without bringing the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Carry at least one photo identity card for the purpose of verification at the MHT CET exam center.
    • Follow the instructions mentioned in the question paper given by the exam invigilator.

    Don'ts

    • Electronic devices such as cell phones, electronic calculators, pagers, etc. are not allowed inside the examination hall.
    • You are not allowed to carry any bits of papers or documents to the MHT CET Exam Center except the admit card. Candidates will not be permitted to go outside the exam hall during the conduction of MHT CET.
    • Any violation of the rules or any unfair means used during the examination can lead to disqualification of the candidature.

    Documents Required at MHT CET 2023 Exam Center

    We all know that MHT CET Admit Card is the major document that needs to be produced at the exam center. Your admit card will contain all the important information related to the exam center, timing/ shift of the exam, address of the exam center, etc. Other than the admit card you also need to carry the valid ID proof to the exam center. The list of valid ID proofs is mentioned below: 

    • Voter Card
    • Driving License
    • Aadhaar Card/e-Aadhaar card with a photograph
    • PAN Card
    • Indian Passport
    • Bank Passbook with photo
    • Any Photo ID proof issued by the Gazetted Officer/ People’s Representative
    • Recent ID card issued by recognized college or university
    • A person with a disability shall bring the original Disability Certificate along with Scribe and Scribe form (if permitted)

    NOTE: Ration card and learners driving license will not be considered as a valid ID Proof.

    Guidelines for PwD Candidates

    MHT CET 2023 Guidelines for PWD Candidates

    1. The eligible (Person having more than 40% disability) Orthopedically Handicapped who are not in a position to write, Blind, Low Vision, persons affected with Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disability/ Dyslexia can avail a scribe/writer forMHT CET
    2. The scribe/writer will be arranged by the candidate at the discretion of the candidate at their own cost. The Competent Authority will not provide a scribe/writer to the candidate.
    3. The candidate who wants to avail a scribe/writer has to indicate willingness at the time of online submission of the application form.
    4. Fill the declaration form for scribe/writer in the prescribed format. The format can be downloaded from the website of dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
    5. Paste photographs of the candidate and the scribe/writer and put signatures and submit this declaration form before reporting to the examination hall on the examination day to the SubCenter In-charge.
    6. Produce the Disability Certificate in original along with Admit Card to the Sub-Center In-charge at the time of examination.
    7. Candidates availing the facility of scribe/writer will be given compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination. (30 minutes compensatory time for the one and half hour duration paper)
    8. Low Vision, persons affected by Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability / Dyslexia candidates will be given compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination even if not availing the facility of scribe/writer. Such candidates should have declared Low Vision while filling the online application form.
    9. Under unavoidable circumstances, the scribe/writer can be changed with the permission of the Sub-Center In-charge of the examination center allotted to the candidate.

    MHT CET Exam Center 2023 FAQs

    Ques. How to choose my MHT CET exam center? Can students choose a center of their own choice?

    Ans. The applicants can only opt for the city of their choice as per the list of exam cities at the time of filling the application form. The center will be provided to you by the exam conducting authorities. MHT CET Exam centers are in the same district from where the applicant has passed/ appearing for class 12.

    Ques. When do students have to report to their MHT CET exam center?

    Ans. Students are advised to report at least half an hour before the exam starts. The reporting time will also be mentioned on your MHT CET admit card. To avoid any type of delay, you should always reach the exam 30 minutes prior.

    Ques. What documents should a candidate bring to their MHT CET exam center?

    Ans. Candidates are required to bring their Admit Card and a photo id proof to their MHT CET exam center. Candidates can carry any of the following photo ID cards: Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID and Passport. You are supposed to carry the original documents with you. 

    Ques. How can I change my MHT CET exam center?

    Ans. The allotted MHT CET exam center will be indicated in the admit card. Under no circumstances, the request for change of center will be entertained. DTE will preferably try to allot the chosen MHT CET Exam Centers filled by the candidate in the application form.

    Ques. How many exam centers can I choose while filling the online MHT CET 2023 Application form?

    Ans. You can choose 2 MHT CET exam centers as per your preference. Choose your exam center wisely because the request for change of center will be entertained. However, the authorities will try to allot the chosen exam center only.

    Ques. Is there any MHT CET exam center in any Foreign Country?

    Ans. No, there is no MHT CET exam center outside India. Though NRIs can apply for this exam. These candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of these Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical/Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together.

    Ques. Will candidates who apply for both PCM and PCB get the same MHT CET exam center for both?

    Ans. No. If a candidate has opted for both PCM and PCB groups then they may get different MHT CET examination centers for the different groups.

    Ques. Will there be MHT CET exam centres outside the state of Maharashtra?

    Ans. There are chances that MHT CET could be conducted in the capital districts of Bihar, Chattisgarh, Delhi-NCR, Gujrat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh depending of the availability of candidates.
