The IIFT entrance exam is the most complicated exam among the all Indian MBA entrance exam like CAT, XAT and MAT etc. This exam checks your ability to manage time and ability to take the right decision. Difficulty Level of the General Awareness-

In this Section, questions were asked from static and current GK. A regular newspaper reading student shouldn't find difficult to attempt questions on current Affairs. The section had 28 questions of 0.5 marks each. The 2013 IIFT GK section was easy. The below table show the sectional details of IIFT 2013 exam.

Difficulty Level of the English Usage-

The section was divided into 2 parts, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The overall difficulty of this section was easy to moderate. There are 20 questions in this section. The following table describes the details of this section in IIFT 2013.

Difficulty Level of the Reading Comprehension-

This sub-section has four-five passages followed by 4-5 questions each. This section could be challenging owing to difficult language of the passage or the type of questions that follow or their close answer options. It is better to go through the questions before approaching the passage to get to know one's point of focus. Improve one's comprehension ability, one should read a lot and read variety.

Difficulty Level of the Logical Reasoning-

This section has number of 20 questions. Last year, the difficulty level of this section was fairly easy. Questions came from these areas such as Verbal Reasoning, Arrangements, Series, Coding Decoding, etc. Through the given below table you can know which topics one needs to focus on.

Difficulty Level of the Data Interpretation-

In this section, mostly questions were quite straight forward in approach. Candidates with good observation skills along with approximation techniques could have attempted a number of questions. The questions can be table-based or comprise of line or bar graphs. This part of the paper specifically counts on the person's speed because these types of questions can be time consuming.
