    IIFT 2022 Exam Analysis FAQs

Ques. What is the overall difficulty level of IIFT exam?

Ans. IIFT exam is usually of moderate-high difficulty level. The Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability sections are usually of easy to moderate difficulty and the Quant section the most difficult. However, the overall difficulty level of IIFT 2023  is moderate with VARC being lengthy and Quant being the toughest.

Ques. What is considered a good attempt in IIFT exam?

Ans. Based on previous year cut offs, a score of 90-100 is considered good for seeking admission to MBA (IB) courses in IIFT Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada Campuses. Candidates also need to meet the sectional cut offs which are expected to be:

    SectionCut off
    VARC15-20
    DILR15-18
    QA10-12
    GA8-10

Ques. Which section has the maximum weightage in IIFT 2023?

Ans. Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC) section has been awarded the maximum weightage in IIFT 2023 exam. Out of a total of 110 questions, 35 are asked from this section carrying 3 marks each. It is also one of the most scoring sections of the exam.

Ques. What is the weightage of General Awareness section in IIFT exam?

Ans. General Awareness (GA) section of IIFT exam carries the lowest weightage in terms of the number of questions and marks. Out of 110 questions, only 20 questions form this section. Unlike the other 3 sections, only 1.5 mark is awarded for every correct answer.

Ques. Is it a good idea to attempt every question in IIFT exam?

Ans. It is not a good idea to attempt all questions in the exam until you are confident about the accuracy of your answers. Ques. How many questions should I attempt in IIFT 2023 to get 98+ percentile?

Ans. Based on the previous year cut offs, candidates must attempt at least 60+ questions with 99% accuracy to score above 98 percentile for admission to IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata.
