CBSE said in one of the recent statements, " The widespread COVID-19 has severely impacted the lives and systems across the world. It has prompted the board to provide help for the mental well-being of the students and parents amidst cancellation of exams, disruption of regular schooling and lockdown situations,"

During the lockdown an additional free of cost CBSE helpline for students and general masses was also pressed into service, to create awareness and deal with the pandemic outbreak.

Not only this, CBSE also provided counseling from April 1 to April 14, 2020, to the students stranded in hostels. This was done to ensure mental well being in the time of uncertainty, as the students could not reach their home and which could disrupt their mental health.
