The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the admit cards for Classes 10 and 12 Term 1 Exams on its official website, cbse.gov.in. CBSE Admit Card 2021 is made available for downloads from today, (November 9) along with roll numbers of registered candidates.

Students appearing for CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 term-1 exams can visit the official website and key in their login credentials such as user ID, password and security pin to download CBSE Admit Card 2021. 

It should be noted that the admit card contains details related to exam and important exam day instructions. Hence, carrying the admit card to the exam venue is mandatory, otherwise permission will not be granted for taking exams. . 

Meanwhile, the board has scheduled to conduct CBSE Class 12 Term-1 Exams from December 1 and Class 10 exams from November 30, onwards. Minor papers for class 12th will start from November 16 and for class 10, it will commence from November 17. 

At present, the board offers a total of 75 subjects in Class 10 and 114 in Class 12. Out of the total 75 subjects in Class 10, there are 9 major subjects, while the rest of the 66 subjects are minor. Similarly, out of the total 114 subjects in Class 12, 19 subjects are major subjects and the remaining are minor subjects. 

CBSE has also officially notified that all the schools will have to submit marks of practicals, learning assessments, and project work on the CBSE website on or before December 23, 2021. 

CBSE Admit Card 2021: How to Download? 

Classes 10th and 12th students can go through the following steps to download CBSE admit card 2021:

Step 1: Visit official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in. 

Step 2: On the home page, click on the 'CBSE admit card 2021' for class 10th and 12th link.

Step 3: It will redirect you to a new page, now enter user ID, password, and security pin.

Step 4: Hit the 'Login' button and the CBSE Admit Card 2021 for Class 10 and 12 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Take a printout of the CBSE Admit Card 2021 for future reference. 

What to do when you can't find the roll number? 

In case, a student is unable to search or find their roll number then they can use the CBSE roll number finder in order to get their roll number. Students are also permitted to change their city/country for the CBSE examination. 

CBSE Board Exam 2021: Term-1 Question Pattern for Classes 10, 12

CBSE Board Exam 2021 for Classes 10, 12 Term-1 will include only multiple-choice questions. As a result, students will have to use OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheets.

Each OMR sheet will have space for answering 60 questions, irrespective of the number of questions in a given exam. Students should note that answers given in circles and boxes marked beyond the maximum number of questions in a paper will not be evaluated by the board. 

Further, the board has informed the appearing students to use only blue or black ball-point pens to fill the OMR sheets. Use of pencils will be considered as “use of unfair means” and action will be taken against such students.

CBSE Board Exam 2021: How to Change Term-1 Exam Center?

As per CBSE, students will have the option to opt for only one city as a centre of examination for both theory and practical exams. Two separate exam centres, one for theory and one for practicals, will not be allowed.

To change exam centre cities for CBSE Term 1 exams, students should contact their respective schools and inform them regarding their preferred location to take exams. Following which they can apply for the same by November 10, 2021. After the school receives all the requests from students, it will make a list and upload it on the CBSE’s website by the deadline, November 12, 2021.
