The admit card for CAT 2020 examination will be released on October 28 on the official website. With no possibility of postponement, CAT 2020 is scheduled to be held on November 29. 

This year CAT 2020 will be conducted by IIM Indore. The institute is making all the efforts to abide the COVID-19 safety guidelines.

IIM Indore will conduct CAT 2020 as per the new exam pattern issued on September 15, 2020. The exam will be conducted in three shifts:

  • 8:30 am to 10:30 am
  • 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm
  • 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Candidates have to attempt 100 questions in 120 minutes. The format of the exam is primarily MCQ based, though it has non-multiple choice questions too. For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded, whereas for each wrong attempt 1 mark will be deducted.
