Before applying for JKCET 2023 exam, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility requirement. The details of the eligibility criteria are discussed below:
- Age Limit: Applicants should be minimum of 17 years old. There is no maximum or upper age limit.
- Nationality: Applicants must be permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir state.
- Academic Qualification: Candidates should have passed their higher secondary examination or its equivalent from a recognized board. Aspirants who will appear for the 2023 qualifying examination can also participate. Candidates should have qualified and study English. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
- Minimum Marks Required: Aspirants belonging to the general category including should have possessed at least 50% of marks in the qualifying exam. For SC/ST candidates and for candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes candidates, the minimum marks required is 40% of marks.
