IIT JAM 2023 Question Paper: IIT Guwahati will release the official question paper and answer key a week after the conclusion of the exam. Till then, memory-based IIT JAM 2023 Question Papers for CY, MA, BT, GG, MS, EN, PH are available for download here.
IIT JAM 2023 is a computer-based test. A total of 60 questions are asked amounting to a total score of 100 marks. All 7 tests are conducted on the same date in 2 shifts (GG, CY, and MA in first shift and BT, PH, MS, EN in shift 2) in the English language only. Check IIT JAM Exam Pattern

There are 3 mandatory/compulsory sections as per IIT JAM 2023 question paper pattern:
Section A: consists of 30 MCQs. There are 10 questions for 1 mark each and the remaining 20 questions are 2 marks each. One of the 4 options for each question has to be clicked.
Section B: consists of 10 MSQs/ multiple select questions of 2 marks each. If the question is answered with all correct options then only 2 marks will be awarded.
Section C: consists of 20 numerical answer-type/NAT questions. There are 10 questions for 1 mark each and the remaining 10 questions for 2 marks each. The virtual numeric keypad is presented on the screen and the answer has to be chosen/ clicked on it.
