ATMA 2023 is conducted online for 3 hours and has negative marking. The quantitative skills section is usually reported to the most difficult among all the sections with questions from data interpretation, modern maths and geometry. Candidates who qualify ATMA 2023 Cut off will be able to participate in GD and PI.

Each section had a particular set of topics that were covered. The division and difficulty level for each of it is as follows:

Analytical Reasoning Part 1 and 2

This part of the examination was distributed between sections I and V. It included questions from the following topics in the pattern as mentioned below:

An attempt of 43 to 44 questions from this section would be considered as a good attempt and would result in providing the candidate with an accuracy of about 90%.

Quantitative skills Part 1 and 2

Numerical ability is distributed into 2 sections. Particularly, sections III and VI. Section IV is said to have been dominated by data interpretation related questions. It also contained questions from modern math and geometry. The split-up for each topic has been given in the table below:

Once again, an attempt of above 43 questions from these sections can be considered a good attempt and will give the candidate a result of being accurate to 90%.

Verbal Skills Part 1 and 2

The verbal section was divided between sections II and IV. These sections had positive reviews when compared to the others. It is also said to have been easy to attempt. The following table explains the distribution of the questions across various topics:

A good attempt of about 50 questions gave the candidates a result of 90% accuracy. An accuracy rate of about 85% was also considered to be a good attempt. The paper for 2020 was judged to be set on a moderate difficulty level overall. The section-wise analysis of the same has been mentioned below:

Analytical Reasoning

• This section was judged to be the second most difficult part of the examination paper.
• A majority of the questions were from the topics of critical reasoning along with questions from coding-deciding, puzzles, and inferences.
• Most candidates found this section to be challenging to quite an extent.

Verbal Skills

• The verbal skills section of the ATMA exam 2020 found this to be more or less easier when compared to the other sections.
• The maximum number of questions from this section was seen to be from the reading comprehension.
• The passages from the comprehension were judged to have consumed more time as it involved going through the given paragraphs multiple times in order to arrive at the answers to the consequent questions.

Quantitative Skills

• The candidates of the ATMA 2020 examination confessed this section of the paper to be the most challenging.
• It was a popular opinion that the examinees considered this part of the exam to be taxing to a large extent.
• It is also deemed to have been lengthy owing to the thought-provoking questions.
• Its questions were mostly dominated by data interpretation, modern math, and geometry owing to which it is placed in the position of the most difficult section in the paper.
