AP EAPCET 2023 Exam pattern is going to be divided into 3 sections viz. Section A – Physics, Section B – Chemistry and Section C –  Mathematics/ Biology. Both Engineering and Agriculture AP EAPCET papers are going to be conducted online where candidates are going to have to attempt 160 questions in a time frame of 3 hours.

  • The questions are going to be multiple-choice.
  • The paper is going to be displayed in English and Telugu or English and Urdu medium. 
  • Concerning the marking scheme, 1 mark is going to be awarded for each correct answer and there’s no provision of negative marking.

AP EAPCET Engg. Exam Pattern

AP EAPCET 2023 Exam Pattern for Engineering

  • Exam Duration: Candidate must complete the entire paper within 180 minutes. There is no provision for extra time under any circumstances.
  • AP EAPCET Engineering Syllabus: The questions are asked from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry streams.
  • Type of Questions: Objective type (multiple choice) only. A total of 4 options will be provided out of which only 1 option will be correct. 
  • AP EAPCET Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking.
  • The medium of Exam: AP EAPCET paper contains questions in a bilingual format, either in English and Telugu OR English and Urdu language.
  • Number of Questions: The exam will consist of 160 questions in total. The distribution of questions is given below:

Important Points:

  • If the qualifying examination is in Telugu medium you may opt for an English and Telugu paper and in the case of Urdu medium, you may opt for English and Urdu paper.
  • In case of any discrepancy in bilingual papers like ambiguity in translation, the English version shall be treated as final.
  • Reach AP EAPCET Exam Center 1 hour before the commencement of exam.
  • Candidates are interested in applying for B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture) course in Telangana / Andhra Pradesh must take NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture).

  • Exam Duration: For agriculture and medical exams, 3 hours will be allocated.
  • Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test, a personal desktop will be allocated to the aspirant and the questions need to be answered one by one. 
  • AP EAPCET Agriculture Syllabus: The questions are asked from Biology (Botany and Zoology), Physics and Chemistry.
  • Nature of Questions: Objective type (multiple choice) only. A total of 4 options will be provided out of which only 1 option will be correct. 
  • AP EAPCET Marking Scheme: Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking.
  • The medium of Exam: AP EAPCET paper contains questions in bilingual either in English and Telugu OR English and Urdu language.
  • Number of Questions: The exam will consist of 160 questions in total. Given below is the distribution of questions for AP EAPCET:

AP EAPCET 2023 Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • The qualifying percentage of marks for AP EAPCET 2023 is 25% of the maximum marks considered for ranking.
  • However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed.
  • But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.

AP EAPCET Online Test Instructions

AP EAPCET 2023 Online Test Instructions

AP EAPCET 2023 will be a computer-based test. It is important to know how to attempt the questions on the optical response sheet displayed on the computer screen. The details of the optical response sheet are given below:

  • Questions will be displayed one at a time in English and Telugu languages.
  • There will be a different section for questions from PCM/ BiPC each.
  • Select the section with which you wish to start the exam.
  • Aspirants can change the section they are attempting at any point in time.
  • 1st question from the selected Section will be displayed on the screen.
  • You can also click on the question number in the Question Palette at the right side of the screen to go to that numbered question directly.
  • There is an option to shuffle between questions from any section in any order while attempting the exam according to their convenience.
  • To select an answer, the student can do one of the following:
  • Click on the option that you wish to mark as your response. To save your answer, click on ‘Save & Next’ and proceed to the next question.
  • You can also review the existing response by clicking on ‘Mark for Review and Next’ and save your answer to the question you are attempting.
  • Click on ‘Clear response’ if you wish to change your answer or click on another suitable option.
  • The response marked for Review will be taken as the final answer when considered for evaluation.
  • Students can also use the options of ‘Zoom In’ or ‘Zoom Out’ that will increase or decrease the font size of question and options if required.
  • Aspirants can also view the general instructions of the exam by clicking on the ‘Instructions’ button whenever required.
  • The countdown timer will start ticking as soon as you click the button ‘I am ready to begin’. The timer in the top right corner of the screen will display the remaining time available for the candidate to complete the test. When the timer reaches zero, the exam will end by itself. Even if the candidate fails to click on the ‘Submit button’ their responses will be automatically saved by the computer system.
  • Exam summary will be displayed at the end of the exam with Subject Name, Number of questions that have been answered, not answered, marked for review and not attempted. Candidates will be required to confirm this information by clicking on the ‘Yes’ option.
  • Aspirants can clarify all their doubts from the invigilator present in the exam hall before the test commences. Invigilators will not entertain doubts from anyone after the test starts.
