What Does a Coroner Do?

A coroner oversees autopsies of the deceased to determine the cause of death and, in the case of a suspicious or unexpected death, the responsible party. They also look into any deaths in which a person dies alone or without medical attention.

  • Step 1: The students who wish to become coroners should make up their minds right after 10+2. They should be very intrigued about medicine, forensic and crime.
  • Step 2: As a result, the decision should be made while they are still in school so that once they have completed 10+2, they can enrol in the appropriate course after they have completed their education.

Both the universities you mentioned give an edge to each other in one or the other aspects. However, I would still deem LPU with a higher brand value and a better choice for BSC in forensic science. The primary reason that favors my opinion is its high ranking in the field of science, particularly the employment of the best resources to deliver the course. For 2022 batch B.Sc Forensic Science fee is INR 80,000 per year, at Kistu Jayanti College is as follows. 

The other fees for the first year are as follows.

  • If you are from a different board than Karnataka PU Board in Karnataka State, eligibility fee will be INR 3,000. There are no additional fees.
  • If you are a student from a state outside Karnataka, eligibility fee is INR 3,000 and additional fee is INR 15,000.
