Both the universities you mentioned give an edge to each other in one or the other aspects. However, I would still deem LPU with a higher brand value and a better choice for BSC in forensic science. The primary reason that favors my opinion is its high ranking in the field of science, particularly the employment of the best resources to deliver the course. Some major highlights pertaining to the course offered at LPU are listed below

  • LPU is ranked Among the Top Universities of India in Over 20 Prestigious Researches & Rankings. It is Ranked among the Top 100 Indian Universities and Colleges by NIRF and ranked 3rd among Power Private Universities.

  • The well-equipped labs and hospitals offer a plethora of opportunities and great exposure to its students.
  • LPU aims at teaching basic principles of pharmacology- pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics and pharmaceutical analysis of various drugs.
  • The department is decked with state-of-the-art centrifugal systems, capable of separating important biomolecules like DNA, Protein, and other cellular components to analyze different pieces of evidence such as blood recovered from a crime scene.
  • LPU has made it big by becoming one of the three Indian universities to secure a place in the Top 200 in the World in Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021.
  • LPU was awarded the Employability award by Aspiring Mind 2020 for having the best placements Institute in India.
  • LPU has a mixed bag of students from more than 70 countries, adding to the overall exposure and opportunities of her. LPU has managed to improve its reputation and demand by offering various workshops, seminars, concert events, etc.
