NEST Academy of Sports Management (NASM), Mumbai is a part of the National Academy Group (which was conceptualized in 2000). It is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra and was awarded the first place in the ‘Best International Academic Collaboration’ category in EducationWorld Grand Jury Awards 2023-24. The institute is also in collaboration with ‘Khelo India,’ which is an initiative by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports India. 

NASM Mumbai has 3 campuses, in Malad, Kalyan, and Kandivali. It is one of the first few institutes in India to offer UG, PG, and diploma courses in the field of Sports Management. Admission to these courses is based on interviews conducted by the institute. The curriculum of all the programs is futuristic and aimed at producing highly skilled individuals who are able to become successful entrepreneurs.

The academy also provides training at various mega events such as Sports For All Championship, Barclays Premier League, Pro Kabaddi League, ICC Cricket World Cup, Reliance Foundation Youth Sports, etc. Students are given a Professional Training Certificate after the completion of the training. Alongside, students passing out from this institute have received internship and placement opportunities from renowned sports organizations like India Series BGMI, Hyderabad e-Prix, ICC Women’s World Cup, Western India Football Association, and many more.

NASM Admission 2024:

  • For NASM admissions, aspirants can apply on the official website of the institute @nasm.edu.in
  • To be selected, applicants must complete the evaluation process including an Interview and/or Project Submission.
  • The shortlisted candidates will be further called for a Personal Interview or a Telephonic Interview (for outstation applicant) round
  • The applicant will have to submit the original documents as required for admissions
  • The selected candidates will be informed by phone/email about their selection and payment of fees.

Note: In the case of UG courses, applicants must make the payment of the first instalment along with the application form. While for PG courses, applicants must make the payment of the first instalment within 7 days after the announcement of selection.

NASM Mumbai Facilities

NASM Mumbai has a campus well-equipped with high-speed internet and hi-tech facilities. Highly-qualified and experienced faculty from the industry are available on the campus. Also, webinars and master classes are held at the institute by top sports professionals. Moreover, various screening sessions of sports are also conducted at the mini theatre for the entertainment of the students. Every year, the institute also holds an in-house event - Yuva Premier League (YPL). It is a national-level intercollegiate sports tournament comprised of teams or individuals from various universities or colleges. The competition provides students with hands-on experience in critical aspects of event design, organisation, and execution and also helps them learn new tactics whilst competing.   • Accommodation: NASM has tied-up with several housing service providers offering good amenities and that are located in close proximity to the campuses across all centres. It enables the students to minimize their commute time, and explore the cities during their leisure.
  • Library: Several libraries operate across the campus of NASM offering complete access to extensive electronic information resources and are also well-stocked with books, periodicals, and journals. Also, students have full access to these resources.
  • Classrooms: Classrooms at NASM are air-conditioned and integrated with laptops and LED projectors. Students can also carry their elctronic devices to the classroom for virtual learning activities.
  • Labs: Well-furnished labs are available at NASM campus to provide hands-on experience to its students.
  • Digital Learning: The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program of NASM enables the students to learn using their mobile technologies within and outside the classroom, thus making them tech-savvy.
