SFIMAR Scholarship

Scholarships are declared by the Govt. of India / Govt. of Maharashtra for the students admitted for approved courses in the Professional Educational Institutes.  We have various types of scholarship under the different criteria, as follows:

  1.  Govt. of India Freeships / Scholarships under Reserved categories of SC/ /VJNT/OBC/SBC by the Dept. of Social Justice and Special Assistance – students admitted through the Centralized Admission Process and benefitted as per the provisions made in the Constitution of India.  Income below 2.00 lakhs scholarship and above 2.00 lakhs Freeship for SC /SBC/VJNT students.  For OBC – 50% Tuition Fee Reimbursement for having a Family Annual Income below 8.00 lakhs.
  2. Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Tuition Fee Reimbursement Scheme (EBC) – Candidates admitted through CAP rounds and having an Annual Family Income limit below 8.00 Lacs are entitled to get 50% of Tuition Fee reimbursed by the Government of Maharashtra.
  3. Scholarship for students pursuing higher and professional education from the Minority community – by the State Government of Maharashtra having their Annual Family income below 8.00 Lakhs.

  • Library: SFIMAR'S LIRC provides information support to the Learning, Teaching, and Research & Consultancy domains. A digital library with dedicated computer terminals is available for students. The LIRC provides a conducive environment to users and is equipped with all modern facilities. A completely integrated library software including a barcoding system has automated a lot of procedures and facilitates the efficient circulation of books and other library material. The bibliographic details of library documents can be accessed through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) from any of the work stations (computer terminals) available on the campus through Wi-fi. To facilitate the teaching-learning methodology, effective modern ICT resources like LCDs, and Digital White Boards are used as teaching aids for Lecture delivery & imparting knowledge.
  • Computer Lab: SFIMAR is equipped with state-of-the-art computing facilities to complement classroom pedagogy. All the hostel rooms, classrooms, departments & offices are equipped with internet facility. Lectures are typically augmented by multimedia. SFIMAR's Computer Centre hosts the latest configuration machines, licensed software applications, language labs, IT lab, and High-Speed Internet Facilities. The faculty and staff of the computer center are involved in spreading computer literacy by delivering lectures and organizing Continuing Education Programs.
