PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research is a private engineering college located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated with Anna University and approved by the AICTE, it was established in 2014. PSG ITech B.Tech Admission 2023

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The candidate should have passed 10+2.
The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For selection, the candidate has to undergo TNEA counselling.

If the candidate is eligible for admission to PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, they have to go for TNEA counselling for selection. The registration process for it is described below:

How to apply for TNEA?

1. Visit the Anna University website and fill out the registration form for TNEA.

2. A fee will be charged, which has to be paid online.

3. Fill out the application with care. Incorrect or incomplete data will result in the candidate’s application being rejected.

4. Take out a printout of the application form and send a copy to the Director of Admissions of Anna University.

5. After the merit list is declared, candidates have to download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue with the necessary documents and a demand draft of 5,000 INR.

6. After all processes are completed, an allotment order will be handed to the applicant. At this stage, the counselling fee has to be paid.

7. The candidate has to report to their college and submit the allotment order to confirm their admission.

PSG Tech is the best option among these institutes. The exposure and placement opportunities offered by this institute are unparalleled. PSG College of Technology placements in 2022 ended with a median CTC of INR 3.1 LPA. EY, Capgemini, IBM, Deloitte, TCS, etc. took part in the placement drive.

Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. It offers 8 undergraduate programs, 15 postgraduate programs and doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering and Technology. It ranked 56th in the engineering category by NIRF.

PSG iTech is one of the most preferred institutes among the engineering aspirants in Tamil Nadu. The institute enrolled a total intake of 300 students in 2019-20. The institute consists of a total of 280 faculty members.

Admission process:-

TCE

The candidates need to pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks.
The final selection of the candidates depends on the TNEA exam followed by counselling.
