PSG Institute of Technology & Applied Research BTech admission 2024 is done through the TNEA exam. The TNEA tentative exam 2024 dates have been announced. PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research is a private engineering college located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Affiliated with Anna University and approved by the AICTE, it was established in 2014. The institute has an accomplished and supportive faculty who are always available to their students; 42 of the faculty members are PhD holders, and they number 89 in all. For every 13 students, there is one faculty member.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The candidate should have passed 10+2.
The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For selection, the candidate has to undergo TNEA counselling.

If the candidate is eligible for admission to PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research, they have to go for TNEA counselling for selection. The registration process for it is described below:

How to apply for TNEA?

1. Visit the Anna University website and fill out the registration form for TNEA.

2. A fee will be charged, which has to be paid online.

3. Fill out the application with care. Incorrect or incomplete data will result in the candidate’s application being rejected.

4. Take out a printout of the application form and send a copy to the Director of Admissions of Anna University.

5. After the merit list is declared, candidates have to download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue with the necessary documents and a demand draft of 5,000 INR.

6. After all processes are completed, an allotment order will be handed to the applicant. At this stage, the counselling fee has to be paid.

7. The candidate has to report to their college and submit the allotment order to confirm their admission.

Remarks:

The admission process is done through online TNEA counseling , application form for tnea counseling starts between march and april, the application fees is rs_5000 which is the deposit amount and it is decreased in college fees , eligibility of this course is 12th pass in 10,+2 or equivalent course.

PSG Tech is the best option among these institutes. The exposure and placement opportunities offered by this institute are unparalleled. PSG College of Technology placements in 2022 ended with a median CTC of INR 3.1 LPA. EY, Capgemini, IBM, Deloitte, TCS, etc. took part in the placement drive.

Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. It offers 8 undergraduate programs, 15 postgraduate programs and doctoral programs in the fields of Engineering and Technology. It ranked 56th in the engineering category by NIRF.

PSG iTech is one of the most preferred institutes among the engineering aspirants in Tamil Nadu. The institute enrolled a total intake of 300 students in 2019-20. The institute consists of a total of 280 faculty members.

Admission process:-

TCE

The candidates need to pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks.
The final selection of the candidates depends on the TNEA exam followed by counselling.
The cutoff required is in the range of 284 - 9700.
The course fee required is INR 50,000.
The total seats allocated is 120.

PSGiTech

The selection process of the candidates in BTech requires a minimum of 10+2 from a recognized board.

TCE college provides 80% placement in top-notch companies every year for almost all the departments. Some of the students in 2019 got dual placements in many companies.
