Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is useful to get into the software field/non-IT field also. For every subject, there were nearly 10-12 faculty members. so you can choose any faculty from 2nd year of the course onwards. For a single class Girl's ratio - is 5 to 15 members and the boy's ratio - is 40 to 60 members. Faculty qualification - Ph.D. or PG done faculty. Most;y the teaching was normal & simple to understand and sometimes quite difficult to understand the subject and also it depends on the faculty. PPT and Projector teaching method was quite useful to understand topics easily. But for an average student it is ok to understand the teaching, for bright students, the teaching and subject are quite easy and for below-average students, it was a bit difficult to follow the teaching. Exams were conducted monthly - midterm exams. It is easy to get passing marks in exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The campus curriculum is CBC where students can choose their own faculty and subjects except the first year where it is common for all. The Faculty here are so friendly except for a few who will be very serious only about their studies. Mostly all the faculties are Done with their Ph.D. There are Internal and External Exams. For the external exams which are Final Sem Exams Carryout 60 marks and for internal exams, you will have for 40marks. Adding both the marks you need 50 marks to pass and 27 for sure in external to get a pass which is pretty easy if you study with some concentration at the time of internal exams. The gap between exams is not soo long there will be exams Continuously in the last month of the sem.

I choose this course because I am interested in electronics. And also the fee structure for this course is lesser than the CSE. In each section, there will be a minimum of 50 to 60 students. The ratio of students and faculty is good more than enough. Mostly all facility has done Ph.D., and they are good at teaching even though they haven't done a Ph.D. Exams are conducted four times before the seminar exams. UT1, UT2, MT1, and MT2, this is the exams conducted before the semester. The exams are based on the course outcome. Pass is difficult if not prepared thoroughly.

But exams will be the hardest part not regarding failing or pass u can easily get passed but u get bored of writing exams.

Ques
Which is better, Vels University or Veltech University?

● Top Answer By Tridiv Mukherjee on 02 Aug 22

Ans
Veltech University is the best option among these. It has a Choice based credit system. Students are given the freedom to choose subjects according to their interests. Veltech has many tie-ups and collaborations with foreign universities. As a student of the university, you will get good exposure and opportunities. Veltech placements are good, especially for branches like CSE and Electronics. The average CTC for the institute is around INR 4.32 LPA.

Ques
Can you tell me about Vel Tech University, Avadi, Chennai about its rules, regulations, and dress code? And which is the most lenient among hi-tech, multi-tech, and engineering?

● Top Answer By Samiksha Verma on 28 Sept 21

Ans
Being a Deemed-to-be-university, Veltech University is quite lenient when compared to other private universities. It has an amazing infrastructure. Regarding the rules at the university, it is important to carry ID cards, formals, and various other things. You will not be allowed to enter the college premises if you are not wearing formals which include shoes, shirt, pants, and no jeans, T-shirt.  Previously the classrooms had a blackboard, a platform for the staff, and no whitewashed walls. But now the university has improved it with Air-conditioning in every classroom. They’re not as big and developed as SRM but their classroom infrastructure is still remarkable as compared to its previous setup.

Ques
Which is better to do an MBA Vel Tech University or SRM?

● Top Answer By Khushi Gupta on 14 Sept 21

Ans
My brother is from SRM, So I think I can give you some insight into the institute. I have visited VelTech and found it to be an unappealing college. And if we talk about SRM for an MBA, then definitely it is a great deal, with so many events encouraging students to broaden their horizons. Vel tech is less expensive than SRM, Although the quality of education is better in SRM in comparison to Vel tech. Here is a brief comparison of Vel Tech and SRM. Parameter Vel Tech University  SRM Course Fee  1.81 lakhs  7 lakhs  Average CTC  17 LPA - Highest CTC  28 LPA  35 LPA Major recruiters  Infosys, Amazon, Byju’s Dell Cognizant, TCS, Wipro So, you should go for SRM and if you want, you can also consult any senior of Vel tech because this will give you a better picture and decision-making will be easy for you.

Ques
Which university is better in Veltech and Vignan?

● Top Answer By Diksha Khanna on 03 Sept 21

Ans
VelTech is a good institute if we talk about the infrastructure, location, placements, faculty, and management. Check the following points for more insight into the institute: You will be given the opportunity to get a full scholarship if you have appeared in VelTech entrance exam and if your 12th score is the highest in your state. The students of CSE, Mechanical, and EEE can make the most of the facilities. However, the facilities for students pursuing Aeronautics are not up to the mark, unfortunately.  Compared to other private institutes, VelTech promises better placements to its students. The curriculum here focuses more on practical learning than theoretical knowledge. This helps the students to think in a broader way and improve their ideas. VelTech also has collaboration with foreign universities in Taiwan, Japan. Apart from internship opportunities, you will also get the chance to pursue your studies abroad with full financial backing from VelTech. It is the first institute in the country that took on the initiative of CDIO for the quality of education. The fee structure is also constructed in such a way that people from all sections of society can seek admission.

Ques
What is your opinion about Vel Tech University in Tamilnadu?

● Top Answer By Payal Goswami on 22 Sept 21

Ans
I have a few friends from Vel Tech University and according to them, it is a decent college with affordable course fees. A B.E from Val Tech will cost you around 2 lakhs.  Mainly IT companies visit the college campus to recruit students from IT, CSE, EEE branches. So, you will get decent placement opportunities. You will be placed if your aptitude and spoken English are good. According to the recent placement highlights, around 90% of students are placed. The highest package last year was 12 LPA. The college has a placement cell that invites a number of companies. Some of the major recruiters visiting the campus placements are Google, Capgemini, Amazon, Vivo, etc.  Career guidance programs are conducted twice a week. Some highly skilled professors are allocated for teaching online exams which are conducted under the guidance of the smart teaching staff.

Ques
To get admission in Vel Tech University for a BTech in CSE is it compulsory to write the VTUEEE to get an admission in that college without any donation?

● Top Answer By Rishabh Kumar on 14 Sept 21

Ans
One of my cousins graduated from VTU and having read a few online reviews of the alumni here is some information regarding your question, which might be helpful for you. If you want admission here, you have to sit for the VITEEE exam. You could also appear for the JEE exams. Make sure you have a 90% in your 10+2 exams. This will be quite better to negotiate for the scholarship. 75% scholarship: JEE Main/ VTU exam (above 95% in +2) 50% scholarship: JEE Main/ VTU exam ( above 90% in +2) 25% scholarship: JEE Main/ VTU exam (below 90% in +2) Everything is based on how fast you book the seat in the desired department and pay the minimum amount for admission. You can negotiate the fee before joining because later they will not favor your critical situation.

Ques
Which one is comparatively good: Karunya University or Veltech University?

● Top Answer By Ekta Rathore on 14 Sept 21

Ans
A few of my friends graduated from both Karunya and Veltech University and having read a few online reviews of the alumni here are a few tips for you.  If you want to get a good education from a highly qualified faculty then Veltech is not a good option.  If you want a job in a core company after graduation and you are a non-IT or CS guy then go for Karunya University.  Veltech University also does not offer happening campus life.  It also depends on which department you wanna get admission to. Veltech is good for Mechanical engineering but if you want CSE or ECE, then choose Karunya University. Make a calculative choice considering every parameter and choose the best for you.

Ques
Which is the best college among these three Bharat University ,Vel Tech and Kalasalingam?

● Top Answer By Ranjan Gupta on 15 Sept 21

Ans
I am not sure how Kalasalingam University's education, faculty, facilities, and placements are. There are numerous options available, but if you must select between Bharat University and Veltech University, both are excellent in every way.  Whether it's about facilities, faculty, college and hostel life, security, food, Campus, Placements, and so on. You will not be sorry if you chose any of them. And, as I previously stated, these are engineering colleges, so you will learn a great deal.  The best thing is that you'll be interacting with people from all over India. Every single student from around the state is going to be on your campus. As a result, educate yourself and improve.  Categories Bharath University Vel Tech University Course Fee 6 lakh 2 lakh Highest CTC 12 LPA 10-12 LPA Average CTC 3.8 LPA 3-5 LPA Recruiting Companies TCS, L&T, Dell, Oracle, etc. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. If you really have a choice between these two, then go for any of them, cause both are equally good. You will not regret it later.

Ques
How is placement for a B.Tech from VEL Tech University?

● Top Answer By Harsh Jain on 15 Nov 22

Ans
Overall, the college is satisfactory and offers good value for money. Approximately 60% of B.Tech students at VEL Tech University are placed each year. The highest package in college is 7.5 LPA, the average package is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. Web development has become a popular career path not only for computer science students but also for people with non-technical backgrounds. Most online hiring portals provide training, but it is useless if you are unable to demonstrate your development to potential hiring companies through projects under mentors. This is where edWisor comes in to assist you in developing technical knowledge through projects and later assisting you in the hiring process for companies in your chosen field.
