₹ 25,720I am choosing this course because I'm interested in car design and also in cars. And this branch is an evergreen branch. this branch allows us to go in any type of field like in private, IT, govt. sector. The faculty was decent. They help those students who are interested in this core branch. The student was nearly taking 80 - 90 no. of seats every year of which 30 around girls and the other were boys. Faculty completed their B.tech, M.tech and Ph.D. degree through different colleges. like HOD sir is passing their degree through IIT Bombay. the method was teaching is good in some cases for teachers and some teachers are decent in teaching. about every month there is a semester exam which is conducted three times in the semester best of two included and lastly, the practical/viva and end-semester exams are conducted. the sem was not difficult, it was easier to pass and also achieve good grades. just Students have to study for 8-10 days for an exam.
Read Full ReviewIt is a 4-year course in which per year is divided into 2 semesters In every semester there are 5 subjects. I chose this course because now the tech industry is providing more opportunities and spreading rapidly.
Read Full ReviewI am enrolled in Btech course which is 4-year program and it is based on a semester system after every semester there will be an exam and also some internals like midsems, and practical exams are taken for overall marking. Faculty members are also good but the students are more and the number of faculties is less.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is a semester. there are a total of 8 semesters and per semester is 6 months. In one semester 5 subjects and 3 mid exams are taken. The student ratio is 1:70. Most of the teachers are phd holders otherwise every teacher must have a Master's degree in their respective stream
Read Full ReviewCS and IT branch of this college is good. Faculty members are also good. Its mechanical department is too strict. You will have to maintain your attendance up to 75% but there's a benefit that from the second year there's no issue regarding attendance in the CS and IT branches. Everything is on time, you will have to look after your cgpa in the first year. There's a separate department for specialization in CSE named Soit. You can also opt for that. There's no issue with attendance or anything.
Read Full ReviewI have chosen this course because I like civil engineering. Faculty here is enough for all, you will get at least two teachers per subject. Your class. All teachers are Highly qualified and are experts in their respective fields. If you regularly attend the class you will get all the concepts they teach. The exams are always on time, and every year academic calendar is released and all goes according to that only. Exams are mainly based on previous year's papers and passing the exam is not difficult. but scoring well is sometimes difficult.
Read Full ReviewI have friends from both UIT RGPV Bhopal and MITS Gwalior, so I think I can give you some information about the institutes. Here are the placement highlights for UIT RGPV and MITS Gwalior.

Now, when it comes to colleges, I can say that they are nearly the same with no such drastic difference. So if you are to choose either of the two, then you can choose based on the distance between them and your hometown. Choose one in which you live or one that is close to your hometown. Going too far from your hometown won’t be worth your money, time, and efforts. You will eventually acknowledge this by the end of the four years of your B.tech degree.
According to the highlights of RGPV placements 2021, the highest CTC offered to the students was INR 18 LPA. Here are the placement highlights in brief.
Average CTC | INR 3.5 LPA |
Total no of recruiters | 47 |

IBM, Accenture, Infosys, TCS, etc. were among the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive.
A few of my friends graduated from the University Institute of Technology, RGPV, and having read online reviews from the alumni here are some tips for you.
It depends upon the placement cell and their relations with the companies. Various companies like TCS, Infosys, Jaro, Persistent systems, and other top companies are the consistent recruiters from the University Institute of Technology, RGPV with good CTC.
UIT RGPV provides internship opportunities with AICTE based virtual internships in this pandemic. Students participate in project-based internships and work with MNC's as an intern to get product based knowledge.

There have been a lot of cases when students have changed their branch after the first year. My brother from RGPV did the same when he was pursuing PCT. He changed his branch from PCT to EC.
Thus, you are all free to change the branch if you fit the criteria of changing a branch.
When considering whether choosing UIT-RGPV for a Bachelor of Engineering is a bad decision or not, it all depends on what you expect from the college. You may not receive the same level of placements as that of IITs, NITs, or even top private colleges, but you will have a lot of free time at your disposal, which you can use to acquire maximum knowledge. You'll have fewer classes to attend, so if your aim is to prepare for higher studies instead of taking a job directly after college, then the college will be highly beneficial for you.
To make the most of your time at UIT-RGPV, you should work hard for a year and try to secure admission into one of the highly reputed national importance colleges, such as NITs or IITs. This way, you'll be taking a proactive approach to your education and setting yourself up for success in the future.
Hostels facilities at UIT-RGPV are only offered for girls (both UG and PG degrees) and boys (only PG courses) on the RGPV campus with specific income and category restrictions, which is inconvenient. All of the boys from B.E. are day scholars. A bus cost of 7000 per year must be paid.
The college hostel charge is Rs.2400 additionally. Now coming to the mess charges, it varies since they rise every six months, and because RGPV's mess is a private mess, it charges around Rs.1750 per month.
If you've decided to enroll at UIT RGPV and are interested in learning more about ECE, yes, compared to all other branches, ECE is a good option. As some of my friends studied there, I might be able to share some facts about the college I got to know from them.
Categories | ECE at UIT RGPV |
Course Fee | 1.78 lakh |
Course Duration | 4 years |
Highest CTC | 18 LPA |
Average CTC | 8 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | Capgemini, Oracle, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, etc. |
If you are in ECE, there are chances that you will be placed in MNCs such as TCS, Infosys, and other IT companies, but there are very few chances that you will be placed in a core electronics company.
No, this is not true. UIT RGPV has an excellent atmosphere. Following are some tips for you to know beforehand:
Good luck, I hope you have a lifetime experience at UIT.
One of my friends had been a student of UIT- RGPV and here are the things that I got to know about the hostel facilities through him.
Overall, you will enjoy the hostel life thoroughly at UIT RGPV.
This is one of the most common questions asked by students in their first year at RGPV. Most of these students are admitted based on the score obtained in the CLC round. Due to this, they are only left with 2-3 options(Mechanical or Petrochemical) to avail seats.
It would not be possible for you to upgrade the branch assigned to you during enrollment. If you have a good academic record, the seats are still offered on the basis of vacancy.
For instance, if a certain branch has a seat available for an OBC candidate, then a General category student cannot apply for it. If in any case, none of the OBC candidates applied for the seat only then you can have a chance.
Even if you have a higher score and have no backlogs, in comparison with an OBC candidate having few backlogs, the seat would still get allocated to him.
