Hostel Facilities:

The hostel facilities are excellent. They can provide good food , gym , laundry facilities and cleaning every week. They create different menu every week and delicious food. The registration process of the hostel is done along with the addmission process and they are very affordable. According to their facilities they mentioned low price of hostel. Their is a food court for hostellers in campus which have taste food.

Campus Life:

The college organise the annual event named Parivartan every year and they calls different singers on the evening event and the event is for 2 days. The college organise different events every day like technical and non technical in which you can get a chance to win amazing prizes. The journals in the library are very good and they have the latest collection of books in it . You can go and study their without any intruption. The campus have different courts like badminton court , basketball court and many more . The equipment for the games are provided in a good quality. Their are many clubs related to the technical and non technical . In these club you can learn new things .

The prestigious college - CEC Landran

Hostel Facilities:

The hostel rooms are available in 4-seaters, 3-seaters, and 2-seaters. The facilities provided are 4 cots, 4 almirahs, 4 chairs, and one cooler. The meal provided is just like what you can expect from hostel food. It is having very bad taste just like hell. The menu looks quite impressive but the food is not tasty at all. The registration process is quite simple for a hostel.

Campus Life:

The annual fest conducted is Parivartan which is celebrated for 2 days and singers come on both days. There are fests conducted every month in the auditorium. Books are available in the library but you have to work hard to get them. There are around 8 clubs in the college with social and other one.

PLACEMENTS and CAMPUS LIFE OF CGC LANDRAN

Hostel Facilities:

Many facilities are available in the hostel equipped with 24× 7 wifi facilities. Different rooms according to the student requirements ac or non-AC. The food is of good quality. When you take admitted to the college they will ask if you want to avail hostel facility or not. The prices are much higher for hostels as compared to other institutions. The hostels are located on the campus.

Campus Life:

There are many fests in CGC LANDRAN. As you take admission they do 2 events. 1st AAGAZ This is a small event by CGC land run for the freshers but after some days there is a big event named JASHAN in which a singer is also called. All the books of the syllabus can be found in the library. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors and whiteboards. All the sports events and competitions are arranged from time to time for the students. There are many different clubs according to the work like cultural, photogenic etc.

Campus Life:

There are many technical and non-technical events going on on campus on weekly basis. All the festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Cultural and sports are also organized on weekly basis. Both the campus has their own merits and demerits. Go through the following points to find out. Hostels: Jhanjheri campus has hostel rooms more spacious and has better bedding accessories than Landran. Overall Jhanjheri hostels have better bathrooms, gym, common room, food, mess facilities than Landran. Festivals: Festivals are better at Jhanjheri and many celebs come to the campus to perform. Faculty: As Jhanjheri is the new campus, most of the good faculties go to Jhanjheri. Placements: Placement companies come to Landran but that’s not an issue as it is a joint placement drive and Jhanjheri students participate in it as well. Transportation: Jhajhri campus is 7km away from Landran, and you won’t get a bus to Chandigarh or any nearby cities for the campus. You have to take an auto from Jhanjheri to Landran or Kharar. Small Campus: The Jhanjheri campus is smaller than Landran but it offers better facilities. Less Crowded: Jhanjheri campus is less crowded. Here’s a brief highlight of CGC Landran, based on what I heard about the institute from my friends at the institute. There are some excellent professors, some average and mostly good enough professors in the faculty of the institute. Most professors are very humble and help the students in educational, research, and other purposes too. The campus of CGC Landran is large. There are separate blocks for every branch inside the campus. Grounds for Cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, badminton, etc, are also available inside the campus. CGC Landran is one of the best colleges in terms of placement under PTU. Most MNCs visit the campus for placement. Students are offered jobs according to their own capabilities, and with a good average placement package. The highest package offered in CGC is also very good and is seen to increase with consecutive years. A few of my friends are CGC Landran alumni and their rutin at the institute was somewhat like the following. Students lined in a queue near washrooms early in the morning at 06:30-07:00 AM. Reaching mess for breakfast. Getting ready. Tuesdays and Thursdays are meant for uniform/casual. 4 lectures to be attended from 09:15-12:05 PM (Group 1) 5 lectures to be attended from 09:15-12:55 PM (Group 2) Group 1 lunch break is from 12:05-12:55 PM. While group 2 lunch break is from 12:55-01:45 PM Prolonged classes till 04:30 PM after lunchtime. 04:30-05:00 PM is snack time. Head back to your room and study or play video games like- mini militia or counter strike. 07:30-09:00 PM is dinner time. You can wander around the campus, but make sure you report before 10 PM. Next morning, you have the same routine which continues till Friday. College is off on Saturdays and Sundays. This routine that I have mentioned goes on for the next 3 years. Till then, you'd be categorized as seniors and prone to mass-bunks. Plus when you're in your 4th year of college, your timings would just be from 09:30 to 02:00 PM. Once a year the institute celebrates Parivartan fest, sports day, Baishaki festival, etc. Each branch also has its separate fests in which students from different branches can take part. All in all life at CGC Landran will be quite fun.

There are joint placements drives for all three colleges which are CGC Landran, CGC Jhanjheri, and CU. I know a few people from the institute and I have not received good reviews about the MBA program that they offer. You can join the institute if you are willing to opt for a job with a 20,000 salary after finishing your degree.
