My experience at VJIM(2023-2025) batch

What I Liked

Structured Course curriculum with practical subjects like MS Office, Power BI, AI etc. College follows a proper time table and structured curriculum and the course is updated on a timely basis. Various career enhancement programs are conducted.
Good Infrastructure: College has excellent infrastructure with good ambience and lighting and all the classrooms are equipped with ACs. Each classroom is composed of 60 students which makes it easy to listen to the lectures.
Placements: Placements are good considering the fee structure. College also provides internship opportunities for the students. Companies like Deloitte, Amul, nestle come to the college for placement.

What I didn’t like

HR Field: HR students get less opportunities compared to Finance and Marketing. Very less companies come for HR placements. Mostly the companies coming for HR students are startups and the package is considerably low.
The companies could be better: The companies coming for placements could be better, like other than Deloitte the companies are mostly startups or non-MNCs.
The food: The mess food could be improved and more variety of items could be included like salads and fruits for students

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester onwards, students become eligible for internships and college will bring companies for internships. Some internship companies may give pre-placement offer. Students become eligible for campus placements from 4th semester itself. Companies like Deloitte, metrics4analytics, myk laticrate, asian paints, cyberark, come to the college. The average package is 7.5 LPA and the highest package is 14.2 LPA. Almost 94% of students are placed last year. I would like to prepare for placements and get a Marketing job after the Degree.

Remarks:

The eligibility criteria is passing a Degree program with 50% score and writing a management entrance test like CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. You can get the admission form in the college website. The exams will be conducted in every 2 months, those are the semester exams. 3 semesters will be there every year, in between assignments and surprise tests will be conducted to test the knowledge of students.

Start of your financial career

What I Liked

We people who are studying here can enjoy it
The thing will be practical experienceee
Well disciplined and dignified college in Hyderabad

What I didn’t like

The director of the college will be continusly changing
May be they can include games apart of only studying
With every new director new sets of rules will be rising

Placement Experience:

Students should get atleast more than 60 percent in their first year accademics for those people only they will allow for placement and also the students get placed last year are arround 70% may be even more

Remarks:

This is a pgdm program it's like an mba so any one can study the course there will not be such restrictions. The application fee will be 60,000 and maybe even more for the present year I think. It's around 1 lakh
