₹ 2,50,000My brother has studied at IMI Bhubaneswar and it's the best because of its brand value. It is a new and upcoming institute with IMI Delhi’s reputation and brand value.
The following points explain a brief overview of the institutes:
Now, the difference to be highlighted in the degree is that FMS BHU will give you an MBA degree whereas, IMI will give you a PGDM degree; although this is not a huge difference you might choose an MBA over a PGDM program.
So, finally, the choice lies with you because both institutes are quite similar in academics, facilities, and opportunities. It will definitely not create a huge impact if you choose one over the other.
It is important to note that when it comes to placements in tier 3 B-schools, the job profiles offered are generally similar, with a focus on sales. However, the location of the B-school can have a significant impact on the placement opportunities available to students.
In cities where there are multiple B-schools located, such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, competition between schools can be high, which affects the placements available to students. In contrast, schools located in cities without significant competition, such as IMI Kolkata and IMI Bhubaneshwar, may provide more reliable and decent placement opportunities.
XIMB is better than IMI. It ranks among the top B-Schools in the country. In terms of career outcome, it is well ahead of IMI. XIMB placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 17.54 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 32.21 LPA. HSBC, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, Nestle, etc. were among the major recruiters that took part in the placement drive.
I believe that IMS is a better choice than IMI. Some of the main reasons supporting my arguments include :
The fee structure is one factor that differentiates these two colleges. There is a huge difference in the fees of these two colleges with IMS having lesser fees.
IMS offers specialization in 4 fields - Finance, Marketing, HR, and Operations and its main focus is on developing learning habits in the students which is very beneficial in the long run. Students can choose any of the 2 specializations from these 4 at the beginning of their second year. Both specializations will be given equal priority.
IMS focuses more on practical skills and offers a practical environment to its students. Placements are also satisfactory and the average package offered to students is 3-5 LPA.

Location is the other main factor to consider, IMS is situated in Ghaziabad which comes in NCR. It is connected with Noida. As most of the companies have their offices located in Noida, companies visiting the campus are much higher and it is also easy for the students to approach the companies.
