IMI Bhubaneswar Full-Time PGDM Eligibility

The minimum eligibility criteria for the IMI Bhubaneswar PGDM Program is graduation or equivalent from any recognized university/ institute with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline.

Shortlisting criteria

• At first, the institute shortlists students based on their score in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT exams and past academic performance.

• Applicants who have appeared for the aforesaid entrance examination or have furnished valid entrance exams score and have applied to IMI Bhubaneswar will be shortlisted based on information furnished in the application form, entrance exam score, educational background, marks in 10th, 12th, Graduation and work experience.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be qualified for the final stage of the PGDM admission process. 

Selection criteria

IMI Selection Index consisting of CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT score, past academic performance in graduation, class XII and class X, Group discussion, Extempore speaking, Essay writing, Personal interview besides other parameters, will be considered for selection. 

Company sponsored candidates:

• IMI Bhubaneswar acknowledges applications from candidates who are company sponsored, within the approved capacity of the PGDM Programme. Such candidates will also be assessed as per the selection process described above. 
• Such candidates are required to submit a letter from the sponsoring organization to this effect and undertake to pay all fees and dues within specified time, during the complete duration of the Programme. 
• This letter/undertaking will be required to be submitted at the Personal Interview stages.
• The sponsered candidates will not be eligible for getting any placement assistance from the IMI’s placement cell.
• The fee structure for such candidates is different from that of regular candidates .

Interview centers

• The shortlisting process will be administered at centers in Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Jammu, Kolkata, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Ranchi, Raipur, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam. 
• Applicants must indicate their 1st and 2nd preference of interview center in their application form. 
• If a candidate’s preferred center is not allotted for any reason, the candidate will be informed of the change. 
• Center for the PGDM selection process are subject to change without assigning any reasons by the admission cell.

Final Admission Offer

• Final PGDM Admission offer is strictly based on the IMI Selection Index after the assessment has been made during the various stages of the selection process defined above. 
• The result will be announced on IMI Bhubaneswar official website. Candidates are suggested to check the updates on the website at regular intervals. 
•  Offer letters will thereafter be dispatched to the mailing address provided in the application form and by email. 
• Applicants are advised to provide their complete postal address and active email ID which should be valid up to June 30 of the admission year for receiving important communications. 
• Successful candidates, who have been admitted, will be required to pay the 1st installment of fee within two weeks of the date of offer, failing which the offer shall stand lapsed and admission will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list, without any further intimation.

How to Apply for IMI Bhubaneswar Full-Time PGDM Programme?

The application form is available online and to fill it, applicants have to follow some simple steps which are listed as follows:

1. Visit the official website of IMI Bhubaneswar.
2. Click on the “PGDM Apply” link present on the home page.
3. Register yourself by providing all the necessary details.
4. Now log in to your account using the ID and password generated after successful registration.
5. Proceed to fill the application form with all the necessary details.
6. After filling, pay application fees of INR 1180/- including GST
7. Finally, submit the application form.

Mode of Payment - Candidates can make the application fee payment either through Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or through Demand Draft in favor of International Management Institute, payable at New Delhi. 

Note that applicants have to mention the application number, programme name and campus reference on the back-side of DD.

IMI Bhubaneswar PGDM Program Structure

The course for the PGDM Programme is spread over six trimesters, each trimester being of 11-12 weeks. IMI Bhubaneswar PGDM Scholarship

Pre-admission Scholarship

At the end of the first year, 50% scholarship will be disbursed and the next 50% at the end of the second year. A candidate can avail of either tuition fee waiver or pre-admission scholarship. The scholarship committee’s decision is final and binding on all applicants.

Post-admission Scholarship

Merit scholarships are awarded for outstanding cumulative academic performance. A summer internship scholarship is awarded to emphasize on the seriousness of summer internships and encourage the students to put in their maximum effort.
