My Pov of GCT

What I Liked

Good staffs and faculties in both teaching and non teaching segments
Large and various lab facilities. Individual blocks for eqch department
Alumni support is available anytime in this college

What I didn’t like

Not much importance for extra curricular activities
Infrastructure is not so good in this college
Hostels are not so good but habitable to some extent

Hostel Facilities:

Only empty room with cots are provided. No other facitities. Meal quality is quite good and menu is fixed on a weekly basis. Registration process for hostel is simplecand easy and can be done in one day and is affordable to all. There are a lot of PG and rooms nearby outside hostels.

Campus Life:

Technical festivals are conducted by the respective departments and happens in both semesters. Library with vast collection of books in all genres is available. All classrooms are equipped with projectors and smartboards to facilitate PPT presentations. College is equipped with large ground to support many sports like cricket, football, etc. There are student-run clubs like MuFX, SJC, LDS which supports the musical talent, writing talent and Photography talent of students.

CIT is the best option among these for CSE. It offers good facilities and has an excellent placement record. According to the recent highlights of CIT Coimbatore placements, the average CTC offered is around INR 4.99 LPA. While the highest CTC offered is around INR 33.05 LPA.
