Ques
Is Taxila Business School Jaipur good school?

● Top Answer By Poorna Sengupta on 20 May 21

Ans
Many of my friends have studied there, let me help you decide whether it is worth joining Taxila Business School or not. Location – It is located in a prime location in the business center of Jaipur, the biggest city of Jaipur. All the facilities of a city like good transportation (metro, buses, local autos, railways, and airports) are in close vicinity. Infrastructure – It has a very beautiful auditorium, a huge swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, classroom, great mess and hostel, and a vast library. So you will get the best of facilities here. Faculty – The professors are really good. Many have startups of their own and many have held top positions in various companies with vast corporate experience. So teaching is a good blend of practical experience and bookish knowledge. Other facilities – The college has established a “Start Up Cell” for budding entrepreneurs so that they can get the best of facilities during their early years. Placements – The college has good placements achieving a 100% placement record year on year. They have the highest salary as INR 22 LPA while the average salary was INR 12.5 LPA in the year 2019. The college is very good for business studies and the students studying here have positive feedback about it. Though the teaching hours are a bit long and can sometimes get difficult to manage your time and schedule, it is only a part of the overall experience.

Ques
Should I join Taxila Business School or RCM Bangalore or drop a year and prepare for better?

● Top Answer By Kanupriya Jha on 09 Jun 21

Ans
I think you should prepare for better. This option is however demanding but reliable. It requires you to give up a year, work extremely hard (because better B-schools are better for a reason), and persevere even in the face of uncertainty. I would recommend that you first reflect on why you want to pursue an MBA. Most people pursue an MBA to get a better job. Those who make it to the best B-Schools, go a step further: They truly understand why an MBA is necessary for their career. Also, in order to stand out in a highly competitive pool of applicants, the best B-Schools invariably attract year after year. They must have a strong narrative about who they are and why they want to do an MBA. You must also consider factors like fees; some of the best schools, such as ISB, are not relatively affordable and require a significant initial investment. Talk to people who have graduated from your desired institute before taking a gap year. Determine for yourself whether those schools are a good fit for you. Weigh all these points, their benefits and drawbacks, and you'll discover that the decision you eventually make will be based on facts, logic, and, to some extent, intuition, rather than silliness.

Ques
What is there in a Taxila Business School that is not in other B-Schools? What type of questions do they ask in interviews?

● Top Answer By Esita Ghose on 29 Jun 21

Ans
Chandigarh University doesn't run a branch of aeronautical engineering. Although it has aerospace, automobile, and mechanical engineering branches. CU is great for any of these branches. Here are the reasons why. Academics: All these three branches have skilled faculties from reputed institutes. The curriculum is designed according to the recent industry needs so that you can be ready for the corporate world after graduation. Laboratories: The infrastructure of the institute is great. There are many industry-collaborated laboratories on campus such as Mahindra and Mahindra lab, Aero Modelling lab, Flexible manufacturing lab, Honda Professional Automotive Training and Research Centre, Aircraft and Spacecraft Materials lab, Aerodynamics lab, Flight Hangar, and lab, etc. Placements: Placement for these three branches is quite great at CU. According to the recent placement statistics, more than 115 companies selected 530 students from the Mechanical, Aerospace, and Automobile Engineering branches. The average CTC offered to the students of these branches is around 9 LPA. Mahindra and Mahindra, Royal Enfield, Ashok Layland, John Deere, Indigo Airlines, TAFE, MRF, are the top automobile and aviation companies that recruited Automobile Engineering students. While companies like Reliance Industries, Godrej, Tata Technologies, Jindal Steel, Schindler, are the major recruiting companies for Mechanical students. All three of these branches are equally good at CU, so choose according to your interest.

Ques
Can I do a PGDM in finance from Taxila Business School? I have cleared the MAT exam.

● Top Answer By Veda Ganguly on 16 Jul 21

Ans
It will be better if you don’t consider MBA from Taxila business school as an option. While considering a B-school you should always look for a college that has great infrastructure, curriculum, faculties, environment, placement opportunities, and learning opportunities. And Taxila business school will not fulfill the above criteria. You should select business schools that have ranked well in the Times Business school rankings. Try to choose Tier 1 MBA institutions. If you have a good MAT score along with a good academic record then you can surely get a good institution. Also, if possible try to score well in CAT, ATMA, and other examinations too. That way you will have better options.
