Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course cause I want to start my own fashion firm, and I want to have handover management and administration. the curriculum covers almost every aspect of business administration. we have 7 to 8 courses each semester and 6 semesters in total. though the syllabus is lengthy, it is interesting. there are 4 exams for each semester, one of them usually an assignment. the exams are pretty easy to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's good I am having more interest while the faculty is teaching. I have chosen BBA because I want to have my own business and want to take my dads business to another level. They teach more virtually like on screens which makes me more infesting and easy to understand the topic. I have written my last sem Exams in the month of December and it was a bit though because I missed the classes and didn't prepare them topically.

We must do presentations, class participation, objective type exams as well as comprehensive ones. Faculty respond whenever we want. We can go to their cabin and get things cleared and explained.

ICFAI Business School - [IBS]: 85 answered questions

Ques
How is ICFAI Hyderabad IBS?

● Top Answer By Yash Arora on 06 Mar 23

Ans
The reputation of ICFAI has declined over the years. Previously, it was known for its MBA program, but its reputation was tarnished by affiliation issues for its B.Tech course. Some B.Tech campuses in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, etc. had to be shut down due to a student strike that lasted for nearly a semester, and the non-affiliated B.Tech program run in these campuses. This negative publicity also negatively impacted its MBA program. It is unclear to what extent the college has recovered since then. It is recommended that you consider colleges with a better track record. With a 98 percentile score, you may also be able to score well in other exams. Additionally, the fees charged by ICFAI, along with the investment of two years in the degree, make it a significant investment. So, it is advised that you consider other options.

You will need to opt for Operations as a minor specialization in the final year. Here is a brief outline of the institutes. Institutes SIOM, Nashik IBS, Hyderabad Average CTC INR 11.5 LPA INR 7.92 LPA Highest CTC INR 17.1 LPA INR 13 LPA Course fees 12.2 lakhs 14.10 lakhs Top Recruiting Companies Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, Ask4 Trucks Aditya Birla Group, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, JP Morgan Most essentially, IBS Hyderabad is considered adequate for candidates who rather want to pursue their career in BFSI, considering both Finance and Marketing specializations.

Ques
Which business school is better, PSG Institute of Management or IBS Hyderabad?

● Top Answer By Satadru Majumder on 23 Jun 21

Ans
Some people would say that competition is harmful to students as it pressurizes them but, to be honest, we cannot deny the fact that competition always increases the quality whether it is between students or big companies. Having friends in both the institutes, I can say that ICFAI Business school (IBS Hyderabad) is much better than PSG Institute of Management. It is ranked higher, placement opportunities are better there and the crowd you’d meet is really competitive. In PSG Institute of management, you will be dealing with a majority of the Tamil-speaking crowd. Whereas, IBS Hyderabad has a diverse crowd and you get familiar with a different mindset and explore new things there. You will learn a lot in IBS Hyderabad. In NIRF Ranking, ICFAI Business school (IBS Hyderabad) has been ranked #25 in India among top management institutes in 2021.

Ques
Which college is better for pursuing an MBA - IBS Hyderabad, ISB Hyderabad, or Symbiosis?

● Top Answer By Ankit Srivastav on 16 Mar 22

Ans
The best option among these is ISB Hyderabad. It is compared to B-Schools like IIM A, B, C. It will be an ideal fit for you if you have prior work experience of around 5 years. ISB Hyderabad placements are excellent with high salary packages. The average CTC offered to the 2022 batch was INR 34 LPA.  IBS Hyderabad can be a great option if you don’t have any work experience. According to the recent placement highlights, the average CTC received by the students of IBS is around INR 7.97 LPA.  Symbiosis isn’t in the same league as these B-Schools. If you are interested in a career in HR, you can consider Symbiosis.

Ques
MBA from IBS Hyderabad or PGPM from IBS Gurgaon? Will the MBA from IBS Hyd worth its cost?

● Top Answer By Debashish Gupta on 08 Mar 22

Ans
Between these two options, MBA from IBS Hyderabad is better. However, you should know that the ROI for the degree isn’t that good. Due to the huge student intake, everyone doesn’t get the required attention. During placement too, every student doesn’t get placement offers. IBS Hyderabad placement highlights state the average CTC offered was 7.97 LPA.  If you are going to Hyderabad, you should consider other reputed management institutes like Ashoka School of Business.

Ques
Can you please rank these B-schools: IBS Hyderabad, IMI Kolkata, IMT Nagpur, Bimtech (PGDM IB Course), SIMS Pune, Amity Noida?

● Top Answer By Rashi Srivastav on 07 Feb 21

Ans
Many coaching institutes publish many different rankings of B schools across the country every year based on several different parameters. Which in most situations aren’t reliable and trustworthy. But the Times ranking or Career Launcher ranking is more realistic and based on practical parameters. According to these rankings, the preference order of the institutes is as follows.  SIMS Pune (Symbiosis tag, good average package) IMT N (IMT tag and brand value, good placement, good faculty, and campus life) IMI K (Decent placement) BIMTECH (Location factor) Amity Noida (Brand value, beautiful campus) IBS H (More number of students, only location advantage) The table below gives a brief overview of the institutes in the question. Institution  Average CTC  Course Fee SIMS Pune 9.2 LPA 9.20 lakhs IMT N 7.94 LPA 12.1 lakhs IMI K 10.25 LPA 12.41 lakhs BIMTECH 8.13 LPA 12 lakhs Amity Noida 4.5 LPA 6.80 lakhs IBS H 7.97 LPA 14.04 lakhs This list and ranking are unbiased based solely on reasons that are practical, realistic, and are only facts combined with different student reviews.
