GIM Goa Admissions for the doctoral program are conducted once a year in the month of March. The Goa Institute of Management offers a full-time and fully-funded Fellow program in Management (FPM), a doctoral degree in various disciplines of management. The admission to the PhD degree, i.e, the FPM program at Goa Institute of Management is based on the entrance exam, academic qualifications, work experience, profile, motivation, and recommendations of the candidate. The shortlisted candidates then shall be called for a Personal Interview. The mode of application for the PhD program at the institute is Online only. The PhD scholars will receive complete financial support for completing their degree inclusive of a monthly stipend, Contingency, Conference support, and other facilities.
Monthly Stipend of INR 62,000 Per Month for the entire duration of the program
Contingency fund:
The scholars are provided INR 25,000 per annum for four years and a grant of INR 50,000 for Data Collection during the third year.

Ans. No, the Fellow Program in Management (FPM) offered by the Goa Institute of Management is a fully-funded doctoral program and the scholars are offered financial support by the institute. The students need to pay a nominal annual registration fee of INR 10,000, a refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000 and a submission fee of INR 2000 at the time of submitting the thesis.

You will be required to reach the campus by 9 am on the day of the interview. You will be directed to a classroom where the document verification process will take place. A random allotment will be made among eight faculties/admin staff responsible for document verification. While filling out the form, you will be asked to write your three best achievements and provide proof for the same. Make sure to write only verifiable achievements.
You will be split into groups of 10-12 candidates for the Group Discussion. There will be two panelists (both faculties at the institute). This will be a mix of Group Interviews and Group Discussions. You will be given a minute to introduce yourself, and the panelists will then ask you to choose a topic for discussion. The Director's round will be more intense, and you may be asked questions about your work experience and why you want to pursue an MBA. Make sure to prepare well for this round.
The Director's round questions will include topics like your work experience, marketing, sales, and real estate. There may be multiple panelists, and some may not ask any questions. You may be asked to explain your document verification process if it's not in place.
If you successfully complete the interview process, you may be given a spot offer. It's important to stay positive and confident throughout the process, even if you feel nervous. Make sure to prepare well and answer all questions honestly and to the best of your ability.
