Jawahar Science College, Cuddalore, as the name suggests was founded by the Jawahar Education Society. This society is aimed at the development of imparting Science & Technology, as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru insisted on this. The College was set up with only one focus in mind, which is, the enlightening and empowering the rural students through higher education prospects with all facilities and infrastructure to bridge the gap between them and the world around them.
