B. Padmanabhan Jayanthimala College of Arts and Science was established in year 2000 and managed by the Padmanabhan Educational and Charitable Trust. It is built on a land area measuring 10 acres at Kozhai Nizhangan. The college organizes many events like seminars and extra-curricular Activities like Physical Education Programmes, National Service Scheme, Community Welfare Activities, Environment Conservation Activities, Awareness Programmes, Tutoring Activities and Extension Activities Coordinators for students. The college has all facilities i.e. library, laboratories, computer lab, Visual Classrooms and Playground etc.

The vision of college is to Develop into a Centre of Quality and Excellence in Imparting Relevant and Value Based Education to the Rural Youth, imparting quality education in this fact changing technological world. The mission of college to promote our learners’ skills in their chosen areas of specialization, facilitate the employability of our learners to give them a vocation through education, collaborate with our stakeholders for quality education and make the students the learners socially committed, morally upright, physically vibrant and spiritually inspired citizens.
