Remarks:

You should complete PCM and take part in cet if you are a diploma student you have to complete the courses of your wish and take dcet exam another option is comed k I would not recommend it if you are regional as the fees are high and the last one is management quota that consists of 30 seats plus government left over seats in dcet you will be having more than 5 seats you must have cet raking below 100000 and dcet of 10000 for safer side there is two snq quota if you appear in cet the fees now is about 130000 and SC st can avail scholarship this college is currently in vtu by 2 years it can turn to autonomous and exam fees are separate hostel facility is also available to big campus if you come under general merit then no scholarship if you are obc you may also apply but less you can get management quota easily whenever you want if you have money there is a reservation for SC st also in counseling that is cet or dcet and some for obc.

SJB Institute of Technology - [SJBIT]: 4 answered questions

Ques
Which is the best, SJBIT, Global Academy of Technology, or JSSATE?

● Top Answer By Kirti Atreyi on 10 Dec 20

Ans
JSSATE should be most preferred among SJBIT and Global academy of technology not only because of the beautiful campus infrastructure but also better teaching facilities, academics excellence, better campus placement & reasonable fee structure (depending on admission category you choose to get admission).  JSSATE has no dress code, unlike SJBIT. Various scholarships & relaxation can be availed for fee concession. The table below shows the placement statistics of JSSATE: Year  Number of companies  Total number of offers  2016-17  84  393  2017-18  87  259  2018-19  92  405  JSSATE also provides little relaxation in-class attendance and strictness unlike the rest of the two. Global Academy of technology and SJBIT can burn your pockets if you belong to a middle-class family. So, if you're a self-motivated person and looking for little enjoyment in your graduation then definitely go for JSSATE.  The next best option is SJBIT of having a comparatively better ranking and feasible transportation to reach a college campus. It offers better placement and the facility is also good.  Lastly, it depends on you how you take maximum benefit out of your surroundings. Your success will depend on your hard work, time management, and the opportunities you grabbed.

Ques
How are the placements and faculty at SJBIT? Which college is better for a CSE, SJBIT or KLE Technological University?

● Top Answer By Kamakshi Gupta on 15 Nov 22

Ans
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has awarded SJBIT Bangalore a grade of A. The University Grants Commission has accredited the institute (UGC). To keep students up to date on current industry trends, the SJBIT placement department maintains relationships with corporations and industries. The placement department at SJBIT Bangalore also organizes placement training such as analytical, technical, and verbal training, group discussions, HR and technical interview skills, and so on. Career counseling and internship assistance are also available. SJB Institute of Technology UG course specializations includes computer science and engineering, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information science and engineering, mechanical engineering, and electrical and electronics engineering.  KLE Technological University, formerly known as BVBCET, B. V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering & Technology, is accredited with an "A" grade by NAAC and approved by AICTE. Twilio has selected two CSE students with a salary package of 43 LPA; Amazon AWS has selected 40 students (CSE, ECE) with a salary package of 21.5 LPA; Mercedes Benz R&D India has selected 40 students (CSE, ECE) with a salary package of 10 LPA; and many more. The CSE curriculum is unique in its emphasis on hands-on learning in order to master fundamental principles of computer science and computational thinking and apply them to real-world problems. Students can select from a wide range of advanced topics such as artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and computer vision. There are also opportunities for industry visits, internships, research, and innovative projects.

Ques
How are the placements and faculty at SJBIT? Which college is better for a CSE, SJBIT, or KLE Technological University?

● Top Answer By Kamakshi Gupta on 06 Apr 23

Ans
If you're considering pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CSE in Bangalore, then SJBIT and KLE Technological University are two great colleges. However, SJBIT could be a better option for you if you're interested in CSE. The following are the reasons: SJBIT has some really good faculties, but it also depends on your perception of them. It has a reputation for having experienced and qualified professors who can provide excellent guidance and support to students. The placement opportunities at SJBIT are pretty good. The placement cell actively works to secure job opportunities. Many well-known companies such as Infosys, Wipro, and TCS have visited the campus for recruitment drives in the past, and SJBIT students have secured jobs with attractive salaries. SJBIT has a strict attendance policy, which means that you have to maintain a certain level of attendance to be eligible to write exams. This could be a good thing for some students who need the discipline of regular attendance to stay motivated and focused. If you decide to study at SJBIT, I would recommend that you choose CSE, ISE or ECE branches. These are the core branches that the college is known for, and the quality of education and infrastructure for these branches is generally better than for other branches. On the other hand, KLE Technological University may not be the best option for you if you're interested in CSE. The college is more focused on traditional engineering disciplines such as Mechanical and Civil engineering, and while it does offer CSE, it may not be the best place to study that particular discipline. SJBIT could be a better choice for you if you're interested in pursuing CSE in Bangalore. With its experienced faculty, good placement opportunities, and strict attendance policy, you could receive a high-quality education that prepares you for a successful career in the field.

Ques
Which college is better: CMRIT, Acharya Institute, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM), Reva, NITTE Meenakshi or SJBIT?

● Top Answer By Deepak Kumar on 16 Feb 21

Ans
From the given list of institutions, NITTE Meenakshi is highly recommended over the rest of the institutes. Following are some reasons why you should choose NITTE Meenakshi. It has a great campus with decent placement records, an excellent crowd, and above-average faculty. The fact that it is an autonomous institution is like a cherry on the cake as the students don't have to face problems faced by VTU students. Being an autonomous university, it offers a great curriculum, student diversity, and modern infrastructure.  The only con is the location which is away from the city, but there is good connectivity to the college. Given below is a brief overview of the five institutes.  Basis CMRIT DSATM REVA NITTE Meenakshi SJBIT Highest CTC INR 11.76 LPA INR 20 LPA INR 21 LPA INR 19.6 LPA INR 10 LPA Average CTC INR 4.87 LPA INR 4-6 LPA INR 3.5-5.5 LPA INR 4.5 LPA INR 4.5 LPA NIRF Ranking 2020 174 126 151-200 128 - So, on the basis of the above-highlighted information, it is safe to say NITTE Meenakshi is a better alternative.
