UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test) is now known as UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counseling) , and is done according to the JEE Main results of the candidates. The process for counseling is given below

Step 1 : Registration : Firstly, the candidates should visit the official website of Galgotias college of Engineering and Technology, Noida and fill the following details like: roll number, father name and required documents. And fill the Participating fee for counseling, the fees are as follows.

Step 2 : Document Verification : The documents provided by the candidate are verified in this step, if any wrong or mistakes are there in the verification of the documents will be contacted with the candidates through mobile number or mail provided by the candidate.

Step 3 : Choice filling and locking : After the verification of documents the candidates get to choose the choice of course and submit it through an online process.

Step 4 : Seat allotment : The seats allowed in the counseling can be checked through online in the official website of Galgotias college of Engineering and Technology. The seats are allotted according to the rank of JEE score.

Step 5 : Online Willingness : In this the candidate can freeze, float, or withdraw the application . If the candidate is satisfied with the seat allotment he/ she can freeze the seat or float means the candidate can go for another round or withdraw the application. The seat acceptance fee is 

Step 6 : Reporting to the College : After the seat allotment and payment of seat is done the reporting to the college date is given and the candidate should report on that date.
