The faculty of the ECE department is very nice and friendly, giving us good knowledge, teaching is also very good but the only problem occurs during placement. As very less placement happens of the ECE dept in acharya every year.
Read Full ReviewOverall our course in college is excellent when compared to other branches or streams. We have great faculties who have done their masters. It's not much difficult to pass the exams but needs lots of effort to score pretty good marks.
Read Full ReviewAcharya is known for its stunning infrastructure and great shooting spot. If you look into the academic section, it depends on different departments. I am studying ISE, where the facilities have a fine impart of knowledge. Other departments like Mechanical, E&E, BT, and Mechatronics are average on the teaching scale. There is scope for extra-curricular activities but not on large scale. And the most important 'Acharya Habba', a very lavishly celebrated college fest.

Read Full ReviewI felt this was an interesting course which made me choose it. The student and teacher ratio is around 20:1. It was not difficult to pass the term exams. Term exams are once every six months. Faculty members are good there teaching methods are good.
Read Full ReviewI chose the mechatronics course because it is one of the interesting branches which is a combination of mechanical and electronics. This branch is mainly related to robotics. It felt quite interesting to me. Faculties are good enough, they respond very well and help the students regarding any doubt. Most of the faculty completed their master's in their respective fields and many of them completed their Ph.D. program. Faculty use projectors to teach the students, so there is no issue with the teaching. The term exam comes once in six months it is conducted by the respective university, and we can pass easily if we study the subject thoroughly.
Read Full ReviewI took mechanical engineering because I like to study engines cars and machinery. Faculty members of the mechanical engineering block have nice behavior toward students and they are supportive. Internals exams will be once a month and after three internals we have to give externals. As the college is under VTU...It is difficult to pass exams.
