SECAB Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bijapur was started by Shams-ud-Din Punekar in 1969. It was opened with the objective of imparting education to children. In 2005 it opened 22 more educational Institutions. It is situated at Nauraspur (10 acre & 6.5 guntas land) on Bagalkot Road, south of the city.
