SJM Institute of Technology (SJMIT), Chitradurga was established in 1980. They are one of the recognized and authorized institutes to transfer the technology and courses offered by the joint collaboration of VTU Belgaum and C-DAC (Center for the development of Advanced computing) Government of India.
