For admission to PCCOE Pune, you have to give an entrance exam i.e MHT CET or JEE. For MHT CET you have to score 98+ percentile if you are in an open category and want CS or IT branch. For jee you have to score 95+ percentile for CS and IT branches.

Remarks:
My Admission to this college is through the India quota where admissions are through JEE mains rank. I have applied through the CAP round conducted by MHCET. because of all India quotas, my admission is considered in the open category. the admission process was pretty simple first of all you have to fill out the list of colleges and there were 3 rounds after each round you can change your priority list. this college was allotted to me in the 2nd round on 97.4 percentile in jee mains.

Which is better, a CSE at PCCOE Pune or an IT at VIIT Pune?

IT from VIIT Pune is the better option. It is autonomous and offers good placement packages for IT. During the 2022 placement drive, the verge CTC offered to the students was INR 15 LPA. Some of the major recruiters for the IT branch are Amazon, Cisco, etc.
VIIT IT department has a dedicated group of faculties. The faculty members are well-experienced and most of them had done their PhDs.

Having to know people from both the institutes, I can say that they are equally good. But my choice will be inclined towards IET DAVV as it is more popular among students as well as professionals.
Both the institutes have good placement records and stats, especially in the CSE branch. If you’re a resident near Maharashtra then POCCE would be a good option whereas if you’re near Madhya Pradesh then IET- DAVV would be the suitable choice.
The numbers of companies visiting both campuses are approximately equal with core companies and other companies included.
They mainly get into consultancy providing companies.
As a student, it all depends on the amount of effort you put into your study and career and how smartly you put your efforts.
It all depends on you the institutes just provide and act as a supporting block helping to shape you and your carrier.
