What I Liked

The first thing I like about my college is well trained faculties and their qualification is just on another level.all are graduated from most of the tier 1 or tier 2 colleges of india such as iits,nits, jadavpur university etc
Good structure curriculum and availability of good food in the canteen.good transport system outside the college.
Well structured labs which helps us in our study and common rooms available for both boys and girls.good seminar halls .

What I didn’t like

Unavailability of hostel in the college which allows us to search for pg or private hostel near the college.
No sports ground near the college or in the campus premises.one have to go about 3-4km for playing ground.
Size of the campus is very small as compare to the other colleges in nearby.

Campus Life:

Fests are many in our colleges such as paridhi, for dance and music,for coding there are separate fests in our colleges.the fests typically held in October November December . Msit library is well known for the availability of different types of books and journals in the library. Mcl and msl are two leagues played in our college for cricket and football yearly near March.clubs are many in our college for music dance coding etc.

Which is better CSE in Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology or IT in Heritage institute of technology?

Look for other options as IT at Heritage is not the best option. However, it has a stellar record of placement if we talk about the other branches.

MSIT, on the other hand, offers good exposure for CSE. It just falls short of Heritage’s fame and does not enjoy the same reputation. During a recent placement drive, the CSE branch observed the highest number of placement offers.

Check the following table for a brief insight on both institutions

University of Engineering and Management (UEM) Kolkata is approved by AICTE. It offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral courses in Engineering, Management, and Science. 526 students got placed from this institute.

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology (MSIT) is one of the first engineering colleges to be established in Kolkata. It is accredited by MAKAUT and affiliated to AICTE.
