Mar Athanasius College of Engineering Kothamangalam offers admission to undergraduate B.Tech. programs on the basis of performance in the state level entrance i.e. KEAM, conducted by the Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Examination. Candidates must have a pass at the 10+2 level from the Science stream to be eligible to apply. KEAM consists of a set of two papers, each for a duration of 2 and ½ hours.

The questions are objective type.
There are 120 questions in each paper.
Each correct answer is worth four marks.
Each incorrect answer will result in deduction of one mark.

Candidates seeking admission to the college programs can apply for KEAM entrance exam by following the below given steps:

A notification will be released by the CEE Kerala, following which the application forms will be available for submission.
The form must then be duly filled in with all personal and academic details.
Candidates must submit the duly filled in form, along with uploaded photographs and photocopies of marks cards within the stipulated time.
Candidate must choose the center at the time of applying.
Category must also be clearly specified clearly by the candidate at the time of admission to be considered for quota selection. This includes Sports quota, NCC quota etc.
Candidate must submit an amount of INR 800 (INR 400 for reserved category students) as application fee.
Fee can be submitted through Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card. E-Challan method may also be used.
Candidates must retain a printout of the completed form at the time of examination with an affixed photograph.
