Malwa Institute of Technology (MIT) offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree program at the postgraduate level in three different domains. The duration of all three M.Tech courses is two years. The total number of seats allocated for the M.Tech program is 54.

Admission to the M.Tech program is done on the basis of merit in National level GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) examination conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and Indian Institutes of Engineering (IITs).

However, aspiring candidates must hold a Graduation degree in a relevant branch of Engineering or Technology to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process.
