IES College of Technology (ICOT), Bhopal is an engineering and management college established as one of institutions under IES Group of Institutions. The college is known to offer degrees in bachelors of engineering, masters of engineering, masters of business administration and polytechnic engineering courses. The courses are approved by AICTE with affiliation to RGPV University, Bhopal.

All admissions are conducted through online off-campus counselling conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh.
Candidates seeking admissions in B.E must appear in JEE Main and register for online counselling.
Similarly, M.E and MBA candidates must possess bachelor’s degree in engineering/any discipline with valid GATE or CMAT scores respectively to seek admissions through centralized admission process.
Polytechnic engineering course admissions are based on MP PPT state entrance test conducted by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB).
Counselling for each course is done in three phases – Round 1, Round 2 and College Level Counselling.

IES College of Technology B.E. and Polytechnic Engineering Admission 2023

ICOT offers degree and diploma courses in engineering where total intake for B.E is 660 and Diploma course has 240 seats. Those who wish to apply for B.E course must do so by appearing in JEE Main and registering for centralized admission process. Diploma course admissions are based on candidates scores in MP PPT, followed by online off-campus counselling.

B.E candidates must have passed class 12 examinations with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and minimum 45% marks in aggregate. In case of reserved category, a minimum of 40% marks is required.

Key Points for Polytechnic Admission:

Those candidates who have passed class 10 examinations with minimum 35% marks are eligible for diploma admissions.
They must have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects in class 10.
Candidates who have cleared class 10 examination with grace marks are also eligible.

IES College of Technology M.E Admission 2023

The degree course of M.E is offered in five specializations at postgraduate level. The total number of seats offered in each specialization is 18. Those candidates who have valid GATE scores are considered eligible for admission.

Four-year bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university/institution is minimum academic eligibility. The minimum marks required in degree is 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category candidates of Madhya Pradesh.

IES College of Technology MBA Admission 2023

The college offers comprehensive course of MBA in three specializations. It has a total intake of 60 seats. Candidates planning to pursue the course have to register for centralized online admission counselling on the basis of CMAT scores.

Candidates must possess bachelor’s degree in any discipline and secure minimum 50% marks. There is 5% relaxation in minimum eligibility marks for reserved category candidates of Madhya Pradesh only.

Note: In case a candidate has not appeared in CMAT then he/she can apply on the basis of merit of qualifying degree examination. Counselling such candidates is done separately.

Candidates desirous of applying at any of the courses offered by the college must apply for various entrance tests required for selection process at the official website of conducting bodies.

Also, they must register for counselling under DTE, Madhya Pradesh within the stipulated time period to take part in further admission procedure.
