Placement Experience:

Students from any semester were eligible for placements, all I can say is majority big companies visited and the college claims around 150+ companies visited, the base was 3.5lpa to 10lpa, and the college claims 91% but according to me I suppose 40-50% gets placed, probably gonna spend some time alone and will get to work after degree

Remarks:

Eligibility was like anyone can apply through CET(common entrance test), all the application fee is mentioned while we select the college from cet, I suppose government provides reservations for every college, but for eligibility, I don't know, it's a huge pain to apply for any college through CET

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are great here. There were many MNC companies that came to the college during placement. It started as early as in the 6th sem end and by the end of the 8th sem almost 80 per cent of students where placed with an average package of 5lpa.

Remarks:

The admission process was very smooth and helpful. It was easily approachable. The application forms can be found by contacting the college through their website and a dedicated counsellor is assigned to each individual.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to study this course as I was interested in this from my school day, I wrote JEE too and wanted to join IIT, but due to not being that good percentile, I joined this college. Faculty members are average except for some members. The faculty-student ratio is good.

Remarks:

I was admitted to this college by management Kota, I had a good percentile in JEE mains as of which I didn't have any additional admission tests. The admission process could be made even better by the better accounts department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do engineering from my school days, and later was more curious about it from 10, and PU later on. So I took engineering. Faculties are mostly of average and above average level, but some are exceptionally very good.

Remarks:

I joined the college through an entrance exam, which was KCET for engineering in Karnataka, I scored 40,000 ranking out of 2,00,000 or 2,10,000 in the exam, and I had a category certificate of II - B, so got the seat.

Ques

Is hkbk a good college?

● Top Answer By Ajanta Paul on 23 Apr 21

Ans
When talking about the academic criteria about HKBK, it stands to be an average choice among many others. Besides, a student might find it difficult to get the required placement, unless of course the student is from the CS or IS branch. I know some students from the institute and have not received good reviews about the same.  There are students who informed that at the moment of admission, the faculty will state that they have 3 specializations, but when promoted in the 3rd semester, the same faculty will somehow instruct you to comply with one.  Other than that, the eventual downside of the institution, as also mentioned by students, is that the labs of it are not very well maintained and are rather below average.  A brief overview of the college is given below for your reference. Average CTC 14.40 LPA Highest CTC 4.50 LPA Top Recruiters Wipro, ABC Technology, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Total Offers  277 Industry Interface  Wipro, Tesco, Infosys Popular Courses MBA, B.Tech Hope this helps.

Ques

Which college is better, HKBK or Reva University?

● Top Answer By Ronit Roy Singh on 21 Apr 21

Ans
If there is one word to be spared, then it is above average. I know a few people from the institute and have received a mixed opinion from them. The pros and cons of the institute are as discussed below.  Pros: The campus is amazing. The senior faculty is renowned among students. You can rather get somewhat good laboratories as well which are maintained in pristine condition. At the most, there are different events going on throughout the year. Cons: The institution is quite a bit overcrowded. The hostel services are deemed to be bad and pretty much expensive as well. When paying the fees, it becomes troublesome. The campus is located at a very remote location which makes it difficult for students to finally reach there.  Alongside all of that, if you study well, you will get good placements. Hope this helps.

Ques

Which college is better, HKBK or Reva University?

● Top Answer By Aditya Sethi, on 03 Nov 21

Ans
As one of my friends is a student of REVA University, I might be able to provide some information about it. The faculty members of REVA University are extremely helpful and highly experienced in their particular field.  The environment here is very disciplined and has an excellent learning atmosphere.  The CS department organizes workshops for better learning. The placement here is not the best but is improving very well. If proper education is provided the students will be able to secure a good job offer even in off-campus placements. Considering hostels, REVA University has one of the well-maintained hostels in the country. The food provided is good, healthy, and affordable.  Other facilities like a laundry facility are available at INR 100 per year. But like everything else it has its flaws which bother the students. This includes the wifi facilities which are not great as in the hostels most of the times the connection is interrupted.

Ques

Is there a 100% placement for the EC branch in engineering in HKBK College, Bangalore?

● Top Answer By Vritant Seh on 19 Jun 21

Ans
Even though EC is one of the most sought-after courses at HKBK college, there isn't a 100% placement record in any engineering branches of HKBK yet. If you want to get placed with a good package, you must have a good academic score, technical knowledge, a strong resume, and the skill sets to crack the interview. Getting placed at a good company also depends on your project or internship history. So working on your skills is the key. Also, try to apply individually to your dream company instead of hoping for college to have your back always. Your connection and alumni network will definitely play a pivotal role here. Now, let us briefly look into the placement stats of HKBK college 2020: Particulars HKBK college of Engineering, Bangalore Total number of recruiters 72 Top recruiters IBM, Royal Enfield, Infosys, Cognizant, Bosch Number of students placed 346 Highest CTC offered 14.40 LPA Average CTC offered 4.50 LPA Placement rate 80% Overall, placements at HKBK are pretty decent.
