Dr. T. Thimmaiah Institute of Technology (Formerly known as Golden Valley Institute of Technology – GVIT) was eastablished by Dr. T Thimmaiah, Ph. D (London), IAS (Retired) in 1986 under the efforts of Golden Valley Educational Trust. Its main purpose is to impart quality technical education.

  • District Bio-Fuel Information & Demonstration – It seeks to promote and bring the project forward in relation with the conduction of various awareness & training programs to Grama Panchayats, School & Colleges etc.
  • It is currently manufacturing Pongamia oil – For domestic lighting purpose, De - oiled cake – Fertilizer for agriculture, Bio Diesel – Alternate Fuel for Motor vehicles, Bio soap – Bathing and other purposes.
