Feroze Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology (FGIET) was established on September 15, 2004, and is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU), Uttar Pradesh and approved by AICTE.

FGIET offers a four-year full-time B.Tech course in 4 disciplines and a three-year full-time MCA course.

Candidates have to follow the online mode of application.
Applicants who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) marks and have qualified UPSEE are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech course.
Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% (45% for candidates of reserved category) marks and have studied Mathematics at 10+2/ graduation level are eligible for admission to MCA course.
Selection of the candidates for admission to B.Tech and MCA course is done on the basis of their performance in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE).

FGIET B.Tech Admission 2023

Feroze Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology offers B.Tech in 4 specializations. Applicants who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board with minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) marks are considered eligible for admission to B.Tech course.

Also, it is compulsory for all applicants to qualify UPSEE conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh.

Selection of the candidate is done on the basis of their performance in UPSEE. Allotment of seats and admission is given through Central Admission Board (CAB).

Key points:

Economically weaker meritorious candidates get the facility to take admission against Tuition Fee Waiver seats. No tuition fee is charged from such candidates.
100% of the seats in each branch of B.Tech are filled by the UPSEE qualified candidates.
NRI candidates can get admission against 5% of total intake as per the instructions of Uttar Pradesh.
Kashmiri Migrants may get admission to B.Tech course according to the norms of AICTE as instructed by UP Government.
Applicants whose result of qualifying examination is awaited are eligible to apply for UPSEE but are not given admission unless they don’t submit all the required documents at the time of document verification.

FGIET MCA Admission 2023

The institute offers full-time MCA course at the PG level. Candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% (45% for SC/ ST candidates) and have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or graduation level, and have also qualified UPSEE are considered eligible for admission to MCA course.

Selection of the candidates is done on the basis of their merit in UPSEE conducted by APJAKTU.

User facts:

There are total 11 papers in UPSEE with multiple choice objective type questions.
Paper 10 is for MCA and has 100 MCQs of 400 marks.
It will be conducted in online mode.
There will be no negative marking.
The test will be of 2-hour duration.
Qualified candidates will be called for the counselling session.

FGIET Application Process 2023

The application form is to be submitted online. Candidates need to follow subsequent steps:

Visit the website of UPSEE.
Fill up the application form by providing the details such as:
- Name
- Guardian’s name
- Domicile of parents
- Address of correspondence
- Contact No.
- Email Id
- Course apply for
- Qualifying examination details
- Choose paper as per eligibility
- Choose city for examination center
Choose a password and use it until the examination is over.
Pay the application fee of INR 1200 for Male/ Transgender candidates of General Category/ OBC and INR 600 for SC/ ST/ Female candidates through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
Attach the following documents along with the application form:
- Passport Sized Photograph (in JPEG format)
- Signature (in JPEG format)
- Left Thumb Impression (in JPEG format)

FGIET : A Comprehensive Review of its Capabilities

What I Liked

FGIET has a spawling campus with modern infrastructure,including well-equipped labs and libraries.
the faculty at FGIET is experienced and knowledgeable in thier respective fields
the campus life is vibrant , with many cultural and technocal events organized through the year

What I didn’t like

fewer industry visits and collaboration compares to other collages.
modern teaching techniques is not used by the faculty fro teaching.
limited reasearch opportunities compared to other collegs

Remarks:

minimum 45% in intermediate with science(math) stream is reqiured to get admission . students can also appear in entrance exam like JEE/CUET to get admission in FGIET collage . direct admission is also available for students to get admitted on vacant seat.
