M.Tech Eligibility
Students must score at least 50% in B.E./B.Tech degree.
M.Tech Admission Process

GATE Application Requirements
A GATE score is required by those students who are willing to apply for a master’s or Ph.D. program. The section below throws light upon the list of documents required and where an applicant can apply for the entrance.
How to Apply?
The applications for GATE are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.
Documents Required
- Scanned photograph and signature
- Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
- Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
- Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
- Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
- Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
- Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
- Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
KPGCET
Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test is taken by those students who wish to apply for MBA or MCA. The application fee for the general category is INR 650. The following section gives the necessary details for KPGCET.

- Mark sheet of 10th and 12th
- Scanned copy of candidate’s recent passport-sized photograph
- Candidate’s signature
- Signature of candidate’s parent/guardian.
- Scanned copy of the candidate’s left thumb impression
How to Apply?
There are three phases of application that must be filled with utmost care. Applications for admissions are accepted online through the official website.
The following steps to fill an application, have been given below:
- The applicants must register first as a new user by filling in the required fields to generate a new user id and password.
- Using the credentials generated during registration, the applicant must log in to start filling the application.
- After saving the information and re-reading the information provided, the applicants can submit the information and move on to the next section.
- Finally, the applicants should upload their scanned documents, accept the declaration, pay the fee and submit the application.
MBA Eligibility
Pass in B.E/B.Com/B.Sc/BCA/BBM with 50% aggregate for general category and 45% for reserved category. There are other criteria for eligibility as well, which are given below:
Students must have 55% of aggregate in bachelor’s and 60% in English.
PGCET is the only entrance test for eligibility for the government quota.
MBA Admission Process

KMAT
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is required from students who are willing to apply for an MBA. The application fee is INR 856, which needs to be paid through a DD by the general category.
