Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech - Candidates seeking admission to the 1st year B-Tech Courses should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry /Biology. The candidates should also have pass marks in theory papers Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry /Biology.
Candidates interested in B.Tech, should secure merit ranks in WBJEE & JEE Mains.
For B.Tech (Lateral) - Candidates seeking admission to the 2nd year B-Tech (Lateral) Degree Course should either pass diploma course in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy from any AICTE recognized Polytechnic/Institute with at least overall 60% marks or have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject and Degree in Science (B.Sc.) from U.G.C. approved Universities with at least 60% marks.
Admission to 2nd year B-Tech Degree (lateral entry) can be taken by appearing and qualifying in the written test -JELET conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE).
Selection Criteria
Considering the 12th exam results, JEE Main and WBJEE score, a merit list shall be made category-wise, listing all the candidates.
Application Process
For B.Tech - Candidates need to apply for WBJEE and can find detailed information regarding application and counselling on their official websites www.wbjeeb.in | www.jeemain.nic.in.
- After allotment of seats in the counselling, candidates need to do the further formalities for admission in the college campus.
- Choice filling and locking is mandatory and it is to be done by the candidate only. In a decreasing order of preference, branch choices are to be filled.
- Based on the cut off set by AEC West Bengal, seats will be allocated in each round of counselling.
- Once allotted for your desired branch, the candidate must freeze the option and pay the seat acceptance fee. They must report to the institute with the original documents for verification and confirming the provisional seat acceptance
- Admission Kit, Checklist & Fee structure will be provided to the students in the college campus/ city office.
For B.Tech (Lateral) – Candidates need to apply for WBJEE JELET They can also find important information regarding application and counselling on the official websites of WBJEE. After allotment of seats in the counselling, candidates need to do the further formalities for admission in the college campus. Also, the students will be provided with the Admission Kit, Checklist & Fee structure in the college campus/ city office
