I had other options but the primary reason for choosing this college is that I'm a native of Asansol so it's convenient for me and my family as I don't have to travel to distant places. Also I have researched about the college it's not bad as if you work you will get plenty of opportunities to get placed in a good company. And you asked what went wrong , so during lockdown I was far from my family alone in a single room and I got distracted a lot as I wasn't mature that's why I lost the track and couldn't get what I needed
Well I have chosed my course wisely as it has vast number of opportunities. Faculties are also responsible and do there job sincerely and are very supportive. I guess there is room for improvement in management of eaxam timing as of what I have faced our 1st semester got approx 6 months while we got only 3 months for our 2nd semester
There are opportunities for intership you can take guidance from your faculties and seniors regarding that . I haven't applied for any so can't tell much but many friends of mine are doing internship in various companies.
There are plenty of opportunities for placement provided by college you just need to work on your skills in right direction. Faculties are also very supportive and will help you with any relevant problems and guide you .Each department have there training and placement cells they will let you know of all the notification. I'm not sure of numbers but there are minimum 50 companies. Highest package is of our 4th year senior of 24 or 26 LPA .If you won't get placed in any company college will help you with off campus placement.
Currently course fee for B.tech in information technology is 600000 somthing and yeah I guess it increases each year for our batch it is increased by 48000 somthing. I haven't applied for any scholarship but my friends have applied for scholarship program they have got benifits of 150000 something. And if you get admission through WB JEE and you are a TWF candidate your whole course would be completed in I guess 200000 something
The overall experience is good , everyone works cooperatively and in a friendly manner , Campus is ragging free and you will make a lots of friends here. There a lots of club you can join ,they organize plenty of events for you to participate in and all the required equipment are provided.
Faculties are fine they teach well but they sometimes lack management of course they teach some chapter great while some we can bearly understand what they thought due to lack of time. My batch is the last batch whose exam would be conducted by MAKAUT university as our college is now autonomous so college will conduct exams for batch 2024 and inwards. If college continues the marking system as MAKAUT you need to give your exam throughly and with detailed answers .Each theory paper is of 70 marks , 10 very short for 1 mark , 3 short for 5 marks and 3 question of long type with 15 marks each .
