Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College (GSMC), Mumbai was established in 1926. The medical college and hospital is located in central Mumbai in an area called Parel. Institutional priorities have been medical relief, medical education and research. The college offers MBBS, B.P.Th, B.O.Th, MD, MS, M.Sc, DM, M.Ch, and Ph.D. courses. Admission to MBBS, MD/MS, and DM/M.Ch courses is based on NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET SS respectively.

GSMC offers admission to the majority of UG and PG courses on the basis of national-level entrance exams such as NEET UG, NEET PG, and NEET SS. The candidates need to first apply for the respective entrance exam and then appear for the counseling process conducted by DMER Maharashtra. Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2023 has started for admission to State-Quota MBBS Seats at GSMC.
