IGIMS MD & MS Admission 2023

The admission to MD and MS courses for IGIMS is done through PGMAC. Candidates have to first qualify the NEET PG or NEET MDS with appropriate marks before applying for the counseling.

MD (Doctor of Medicine) The candidates must have passed the M.B.B.S. Examination from any Medical College of Bihar included in the schedule of Medical Council of India.
MS (Master of Science)

IGIMS MD & MS Selection Procedure:

  • Candidates interested in taking admission in MD and MS courses offered by IGIMS have to first qualify the NEET PG examination.
  • Students who have qualified the entrance test with appropriate marks can register for PGMAC.
  • To register, candidates can go to the BCECE Board official website and fill up the online application form.
  • Candidates will have to pay the registration fee of INR 2200 using an online payment method or a Bank Challan.
  • Candidates will then have to fill up the application form with all their Personal Details and Educational Details.
  • After completely filling up the application form. Candidates have to download a copy of the application form.
  • On the date of the Counseling, candidates will have to carry their application form with themselves for verification.

IGIMS MBBS Admission 2023

IGIMS offers 5 ½ years MBBS course for Under Graduates. The admission to MBBS offered by IGIMS is done on the basis of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) scores. Students can apply for NEET on the exam’s official website.

IGIMS MBBS Eligibility

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology.
  • Students should have passed the examination with minimum marks of 50% of general category and 45% for reserved candidates.

IGIMS Application Procedure 2023

  • Students can apply for NEET online on the official exam website.
  • Students will have to log in and fill in the online application form.
  • Students should fill in the application form carefully following all the regulations properly.
  • After successfully submitting the application form, students have to appear for the entrance exam.
  • Only after successfully qualifying the test, the students will be able to apply for admission to IGIMS.

Ans. The selection to the IGIMS Patna Mch./DM is done via two stages:

Stage I: 

  • There will be a written test of 300 marks. 
  • The duration of 100 minutes for the candidate’s subject.

  • For each correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. 

Stage II:

  • The candidate who clear stage I will be called for Departmental Clinical Assessment.

Remarks:

After clearing the NEET-UG exam, a medical college is allotted in all of India, in my college admission process is very simple & takes place by required documents like NEET admit card, Passport size photograph, NEET scorecard & Allotment letter, etc.

Remarks:

For admission into the MBBS Course of this college, you need to qualify for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which is a competitive exam given by about 18 lakh students every year. The MBBS Course is 5 years long as you may or may not know with the last year is that of an internship in the hospital. After passing the NEET Exam the candidates have to register themselves for counselling as per the designated dates provided by the government. As the different rounds of counselling are done you may be allowed this college according to your respective rank. When allotted, Candidates need to report physically at the college along with the required set of documents to ensure that a seat is allotted to them. They may opt for the option of upgradation as well(as I did). In case of vacancy in other selected colleges in the Counselling list, you may get upgraded. After the final rounds of counselling, if you are allotted this college you will need to submit all your required documents & fee

Remarks:

The student should be passed 12th with above 50%. So they can apply for the neet ug entrance exam. They will have to cross the cut-off of college for admission. The NEET-UG entrance exam is conducted by NTA so the application form, application fees, and application dates are visible at NTA official site(nta.ac.in). There is more benefit for reservation category students in the NEET-UG entrance exam. The most beneficial category is SC, ST, armies, and widow child. After clearing the NEET-UG exam you can be admission to a medical college by counseling conducted by MCC through an online process. But for confirmed admission to the college you have to go to college and complete the admission process through undergoes documents verification. one step that can add in the admission process is only one option should be available for AL quota or State quota admi.

Remarks:

It was all okay. I qualified for NEET 2021 with 633 marks to get admission to the MBBS course of IGIMS, Patna. First, we have to fill out the application form released by NTA, before the exam admit card is released which we have to take with us in the exam hall, the cut-off is a minimum of 600+ for general/OBC to get admission in the MBBS course.
